what is the rarest pin you played?

Post by kevin the 1984 kid »

What are some of the rarest pinballs that you've actually played? Most of the one's I played where from pinball shows or TOPL.......

Whoa Nellie! Big Juicy Melons 2 Units
Challenger (2player pin) 110 units
Slam N' Jam when Alvin G. shut down, there were two working whitewood machines.
Cactus Canyon 903 units
Big Bang Bar 191 units
Transformers™ Limited Edition ("Combo") 500 Units
Miss World 150 units

there you have it, The funny thing is that Cactus Canyon is one of the most collectable hard to get pin and thats the one I played the most of, 4 different times/machines in total.

I've played Cactus Canyon a couple times. I thought it was a good game at the time. I'm sure I've played a few other rare ones, but just didn't know it at the time.

i've owned two different Challengers and fixed a third. There may be more in Canada than the claimed 110 in the official record.

Aaron Spelling. Never said it was the best.... possibly additionally holds the title for most egotistical theme for that matter... Actually it's probably the POS Ritchie Rich. (1 unit).
Pins: Scared Stiff - Getaway - Funhouse - Twilightzone - No Fear - Attack from Mars - Indiana Jones - Cirqus Voltaire (prototype) - Medieval Madness - Tales of Arabian Nights. Arcades: Robotron (cocktail) - Stargate - Midway Haunted House. Jukes: Seeburg 100c - Seeburg 222.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Cool, Although the pin was fun it was really slow and took up allot of room. But if you have two players it's a blast to play. I played the challengers at the Toronto show years ago. Played Joust last year in Michigan (2 players Vs. pin) just not the same I liked the Challenger better.

Ian's Richelieu @ the last Ottawa Pinball And Gameroom Show.

What a gorgeously reconditioned piece of history.

Maxed out at 10 machines, no more no less. Toujours a 10 machines, pas moins pas plus.

A philosophy of doing shall rule til the days when I can no longer "do" arrive. Because when I am too old to wipe my own ass, adjust an AX relay or relieve a woman from sighing, there will be only memories to fill my time. So, the task at hand is to build a RRSP of memories, come hell or calm tides.

P.S. Some of us need something to do besides contemplate how important everyone has suddenly become in a world of exaggerated self-promotion upheld by the new dumb.

Star Light - System 9. Possibly the only one in existence. Almost all others were System 7. Total production run: 100.
