PFFTT !

Sens in Six !

--

Karlsson and Jared Cowen are back (6 points between them in the last 3 games...)
so the defense is a MUCH bigger threat than the Habs are expecting.

If Anderson keeps his LEAGUE-LEADING goal-against performance going,
the Habs don't stand a chance...

Besides, the habs have been abysmal in their last 10 games...

..na-na-naaaa-na, na-na-NAAAA-NA, hey, hey, good-bye...

One of the arguments that the sens cannot go far is because they finished 27th in league scoring and are the lowest scoring team that made the playoff... Yeah but people seem to forget the reason why they had trouble scoring is because their leading goal scorer and the best offensive dman in the league were absent most of the season and now they are back so ergo the team as it is right now would not have finished 27th, probably near the middle at the very least (karlsson makes that much of a difference). And if spezza come back... Yes IF.... We will talk then about their potential past this round.

Not sure who is taking the series, but it's going 6 games at least.

Good stuff you re smoking...
Nobody will sweep this serie, even less the Sens.

And stop talking about injured players.Nobody cried for the Habs when we loss Markov for 2 years and even missed the playoffs.
Habs in 5 or 6 seems logical here.

Regular season aside, Mr. Anderson has not won a playoff series so I have heard. The Sens have many rookies and the BEll Center is going to be a rocking!! Tough place for any opposing player to play but even worse if you are a rookie. I think this series will go the full seven with home ice being the determining factor.

BTW, Optimus Reimer looked invincible last night!

That said, I think the Sens can say a HUGE thank-you to Craig Anderson.
He stole 3 of those games for the Sens.

Now bring on the Pens.... ;-)

Man that was embarassing. The Habs kind of ran out of gas the last 2 weeks of the season with that losing streak and then continued to tank against the Sens. Thank god it was a short season otherwise I dont think they would have survived to make the playoffs if it was 82 games.

Other than their finish, the shoretened season was more entertaining, the games meant more and I appreciate the fact that the Habs went from 15th to 2nd in the conference. They just couldn't finish strong. So now my mantra is;

Go Sens !

What a beating. Tough to be a habs fan this morning.

Let's hope they can stay the course and remain a threat to the Pens and beyond.
