I weighed myself this morning... 249.7 ... WOOOO... first milestone reached. 10 down, 50 to go.

But... it really did suck last night when everyone is enjoying a big chicken dinner, while I sat there eating my romaine/baby spinach salad for supper. Holy hell did I ever crave a bag of chips an hour later. I went out to walk with my dog instead in order to take my mind off things.

Not as easy as some may think...

Nice work Ian. I feel your pain on the chips. I told my wife I'd give them up for Lent. The next day she told me how long Lent lasted. I was not happy.

So... I've been doing this:

- no junk food
- small portions, 4 meals per day
- no meat at lunch
- no eating past 7pm
- minimum 1hr of physical activity
- no alcohol
- no soft drinks including energy drinks
- least sugar possible
- drink lots of water

Sounds pretty bad, but to be honest, not really. I feel WAYYY better than a month ago. Much more alert.

And the result? Surprising...

Wednesday = 249.7 lbs
Yesterday afternoon =
Weight apr 24.JPG
Ok, granted, I have also been busting my ass off on the kitchen renovation on weekends. LOL... but still...

Everyone says it is excessive loss... but I am not hungry to the point of passing out, I sleep well (better than in a while), and I have more energy now than on the Monster...

My 40-waist pants are now loose, and I an down 2 nothes on my belt...Still a way to go, but I am on the right track.

I just thought of a great idea... Inspired by redketchup (merci mon ami!!!!)

With all the little parts requests that seem to be coming in, I have decided that ANY SMALL PART CAN BE BOUGHT AND SHIPPED FOR FREE, provided a donation to my Make-A-Wish cause.

So, I gotta look for:

Meteor spinner for Drano (to be shipped with drop target unit... already all paid for ;) )
Seabitch spinner for Grant
Trough rail for Lee

Time to get digging!!! PM me your requests! Take advantage of this before I regain my sanity. Hunger is making me loopy. LOL

Sweet! Thanks man.
BTW... we already located the drop target parts for fathom so the spinner is plenty... but if you happen to have a gottlieb (EM era) 4 DT bank in your cache I'll happily take that.
Need it for a custom project ;)

Keep up the good work. I need me some inspiration to shed a few pounds too :(

I have to be careful... had a rough week so far, and I found out that lack of sleep affects weight... LOL. It creeped up a bit.

Gonna ramp up the physical activity...

Update... apart from a couple of beers at Murrsky a week ago, no booze in months, cut back on greasy foods, eating more reasonable portions, and raised my physical activity.

Started at 262. Now at 227.8lbs
Ian may 29.JPG
I will be honest, I still find myself way overweight and quite discouraged, but my wife did mention to me that I no longer have the belly overhang when wearing a t-shirt. LOL So I guess I am heading in the right direction.

but I think things will get harder in a week... back at work. Looking more forward to a full-throttle kick in the nuts than going back... but it is what it is.

So... halfway done to my ultimate goal...

And if anyone still wishes to donate, PLEASE DO!!! ;)

Still keeping up with my mission...

I went back up to 240lbs, but pants are still loose. I gained maybe 5lbs since back at work, but I have been cycling and walking every day, so muscle mass is building up.

Stress these days is the killer... The kitchen is putting one hell of a financial strain, and my better half is driving me to get it finished ASAP. It's wearing me down hard. But I am staying on the path...

So, just a reminder, if you wish to donate for a great cause (Make-A-Wish) by sponsoring my 48-hr bike run, please do so here:

ANY amount is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Wow... it's been interesting... in the last few weeks, I have dealt with nearly quitting my job due to stress, a nagging chest cough that is still there after a month, spraining my left ankle and tearing my leg up after a T2 arcade cab fell on it (long fucking story...)... but thanks to a super-supportive family circle (my wife and kids... as for the others, they don't believe, so fuck em), the course is held.

Back to 230lbs. Not exactly as low as I would have wanted... but I am still 32lbs lighter than when I started. And I do feel WAYYY better. More energy.

And on a positive note, I got myself a recumbent bike to help with the mileage. I have severe discomfort in my back, elbows and wrists on a conventional bike. This thing is more comfortable than my Laz-Y-Boy, and hits 50kph
Bent bike.JPG
The bike cost me more than a pinball machine... but I seriously want to do this.

So... for all that wish to donate to the 48hr cycling cause, please do so here:

https://cause2give.unxvision.com/P2PWeb ... nguageId=1

Again, thatnk you all to those that have already donated!!!!

I am doing it for the kids... and to prove to myself that I can do it.
