Car/SUV to Haul Pins

Postby Drumheadz » Tue Nov 08, 2016 5:15 pm

So I need to look for a new car like *now* and would like to hear from other members that either own or know of someone who does.
basically looking at a car for everyday use and also to haul pinball machines.
on the list so far are:
-Ford Escape
-Mazda CX-5
-Honda Fit
-Jeep Patriot
-Honda CRV

I'm talking about CURRENT models or not older than 4 years.
I am also open to suggestions

thanks!

I just got stuck on the side of highway 91 just outside of Hartford with a blown engine in a Caravan 06 this week-end lol,
I think they stopped making the caravan in 08 and only make the Grand Caravan now.

My Kia Sorento hasn't met a machine it wouldn't fit. Can also get two EMs into it comfortably.

my 2nd grnd caravan. had 2012, traded for 2016 few weeks ago.

3.6l pentastar 283hp. loves it.great ratings.
cheaper than the competition. but cheaper than the comp... if ya know what I mean.
I put 60 000kms a year just commuting. ottawa/renfrew 5/6 days.
had two pins in it no prob. with stow and go and blankets you could( I measured ) put four reg size pins.if your willing to stack.(never tried)

I know it's not want you want but it's what you need. Buy a used Ford Ranger like I did and haul in style. And when you have too many pins to sleep in your house, you can put an air mattress down in the truck bed and sleep in that.
