Not dead to the hobby either.
Still stuck working 6 days a week in an auto plant.
Time is still an issue.

How is working 6 days a week in an auto plant "great news"?

I guess he has a job. So that is great.

I thought he moved to northern Quebec to learn French.

Guess I was mistaken.

I'm confused.. I personally think that it is a great news that he is still around and coming to say hi.. referring to the thread's title.. oh well..

I thought the title was a joke? Since I'm not familiar with poolman or the goings on in this thread I'll exit stage left...

Poolman is maaca OG with tons of playfield and game restoration under his belt. Do a quick search. I'm sure you'll find some great threads/examples.

Hasn't been seen here for a while I guess ;)

Yes! been 'hiding' it since nearly 2013

This Winter I have nearly 2 weeks booked off. I plan to sit at home with the family, eat, drink and work on as many pinball projects as I can.
Cactus Canyon playfield work is high on the task list. I'm sick of looking at it in pieces.

I just dropped by to hear Mr Hide say "Shoot for the trunk" again. Glad you're not dead poolman. I'm sure you probably share the same sentiment.

Thanks Duane. Things are going well. Never lost interest in the hobby just shifted to other interests for awhile. Pinball put me on a schedule I couldn't keep up to with work. I got back into motorcycles since I could set my on schedule with that; no not Harley's or anything like that. Few newer and older Honda's with a couple of frame off resto's in there to add to the collection. As you know we collectors can be somewhat eclectic which is a fancy way of trying to justify having a bunch of different shit no one really needs to get by.

I know I've been gone too long when Phil actually got his BOP. If I waited much longer he'd of already sold it and be telling everyone it's at best a $1200 repetitive POS. LOL! One of the few titles I have on my short list.

Probably need an ol' timers thread. "Back in the day sonny there were these people called operators and they actually ran machines for quarters!!... and there were these magical places where old pinballs and vids were put up for auction..."
