I love it. Some people really hate it.
it's a "c" title for sure.
Worth ... well I guess I'm not the right people to ask cause a C title for me is 1500$ ... so with inflation Bob, I would say if you can get it below 2500, go for it.

Ever played it?

It's a historically significant pinball machine: The first game released with a full size dmd (yes, T2 was designed first but was released after Gilligan)
"It's heavy. What is it? ... The, uh, stuff dreams are made of"
-The Maltese Falcon

"Every ball for me's another game. For you this always looks the same [...]
I know for you this doesn't look a lot. For me this is the only thing I got"
-Yello - Pinball Cha Cha

"He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life"
-Homer Simpson

Wanted: Bally 20 hole Bingo machine: Orient, London, Safari, Super 7, Bonus 7 or Hawaii.
Bally: Gator, Mad World
Williams: Pot 'O' gold
Rally Play Company of Nice France: Any Flip Tronic(s) era machine produced between 1966 and 1969

these are all "C" titles .. well maybe Corvette is a B.

2500 is not "outrageous" I guess ... especially a week before Christmas... would have to see condition.

Gilligan Island is a low C or a D. Flinstones, Dirty Harry and Apollo 13 are all at least a cut above it.
All that said, I love GI. It is super basic in terms of code but the shots are really fun and I like the sounds. (have dreams of someone one day doing GI 2.0)

Condition is everything though. If it is perfect, $2500 might be really good.

What is GI 2.0? Is this out yet, or just an idea so far?

Love my GI. Yes, it's basic, it's a one trick pony, etc., but it's bright, colourful, fun, and the Island toy is great.

Finding one without wear on the Lava Seltzer inserts can be challenging. Pinside sales archives shows many of them being sold with an asking price of around $2300 USD, so if you can find a decent one at $2500 CAD jump on it.

Gilligans Island 2.0 is a fantasy of a full reworking of the code with a contemporary ruleset. The layout is super fun, and new code would make it incredible. ;)

GI is great. The unanswered question is Mary Ann or Ginger.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

It's a loaded question. The obvious answer is BOTH! You're ship-wrecked on an island. How else are you going to pass the time?

You wrote the right answer before I did.

GI has so many great shots. Even the shrunken head standup shot is fun. I like the wacky rope+turtle orbit shots. The S-shaped curve shot to the saucer is great! Even the Lagoon and Shells shots are fun. The rules need more regular incorporation of the Kona ramp because the carousel of redirections is an amazing toy that doesn't really exist anywhere else (until maybe TimeShock comes out?)
Redoing it, the ramp shot straight in to Kona should be a multiball lock.
