Getting closer to a decision on this. Stay tuned

There was no escape, I did get back into it and read many articles and reviews.

Forgot to post back here.

Received the new pc a couple of weeks ago. Already have more games than time ...

My son and I are loving it ! He already got invited to a boot camp to join a Rainbow 6 team  Kids are unbelievable...

Did not go full high-end but we are running everything over 60 fps on ultra settings so we are happy. Only have a 60Hz 1080p monitor and we feel that it is way enough for our skills :D

Little follow-up on this.

Since we got the computer last year, my son has been hooked up to Rainbow Six big time. He became a very good player and he's following the Pro League religiously.

We are going to the Six Invitational together friday: https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/en-u ... ional.aspx

He is very excited. Good times. Well worth the investment to see him enjoying it so much.

The company I worked for in 1993 bought that same computer with extra graphics pipelines for $1M. They over promised on the graphics specs and when the in-house graphics generator project failed that was the only computer capable of delivering what the customer had bought.

Ouch.
