Pinballs and Volkswagens

Post by Chris Silver »

Oddly, there seems to be a subculture inside our subculture. I am coming across many pinball collectors who have Volkswagens.

Yesterday at Uberhare's place I saw a giant North American one of a kind mini bus. I ran into an unknown collector when I was in Newfoundland who had an assortment of beetles. I've seen Geester crash over at my place in a minibus way back during one of the Hawkesbury flea fairs and I believe Ghislain has one as well. There are a couple more people that I can't think of at the moment. Would anyone else like to chime in regarding their Volkswagens?

Can we see some pictures?
Pins: Spirit, Centaur II, Af-Tor, Avatar, Embryon, Timeline, Baby Pac Man, SkyJump, Night Moves, Split Second
Gone: Space Station, Top Score, Flash Gordon, Solar Fire, Haunted House, Fire (x2), Vector, Bally Playboy, Tropic Isle, Beat the Clock, Blue-Chip, Disco, Punk!, Lightning, Time Fantasy, 8 Ball Deluxe LE, Double Dragon, Stellar Wars, Alien Poker, Panthera, Elektra, Blackout, Black Hole, Black Knight, Silverball Mania
WTB: Medieval Madness, Rush
Its better to have played and lost than never to have played at all.

Well, I kid. It's actually been in my mom's garage for the last few years. Needs just a little bit of work. :?

Beforehand, my beetle was actually stored for over a decade in this bride's dad's garage. Brought home in Nov. 2013

Used to be my college-daze daily driver in the '90's. Hope to get it restored!
