I used to get 1% back until my CC company changed their rewards system. Now it's 0.5% or even 0.25% depending on what I buy. Since I pay my bill in full every month I guess they weren't making enough off of me.Chnillapoil wrote:Never financed a Pinball.
And I should say that I always pay with my credit card for everything I buy, even my coffee every morning. But.....I pay my total bill at the end of the month and get 1, 2 and 3% back depending what I bought.

All the time. You only live once so why wait? Some deals only come up once in a while and you have to jump on them. Most of my pins are worth a lot more now so I see that as paying the interest. I will have the credit line paid off in a year or so.

Nope. My first pin I ended up selling my comic book collection, baby strollers, baby everything and recycling scrap metal and wire for over 2 months.
I always prefer to use cash, but if I was ever to pre-order or order a pin I would use my credit card so that it has buyer protection on it.

Exception is with 0% purchases, I have borrowed 30K @ 0% over 7 years a few times and that was a total no brainer. Instead of just dropping 30K on the table, I got to spread out the 30K dropping 357.00 on the table every month for 7 years. This way I had the remainder of the 30K in my pocket in case of emergency.
