Got up early and hung over to head down to the US to make Capt. Card a Canadian citizen.

Edit: plays perfectly....BG and PF are rough though.

so as someone who has never played digital darts, what is the attraction? every time I hear about them, people always say they are one of the most popular machines of the game room.

Pre-arcade-game-collecting (almost 10 years :? (since smoking cigarettes too! :D)), I played darts in the garage with in-laws on occasion. And I never ever played electronic darts either! But have since become aware of them and have been interested for years. Opportunity came up and I got it! Nifty games and don't have to use chalk to track scoring anymore! phew!

... but no Cricket, darnit. Would love to 'upgrade' to an Arachnid 6000/Super 6 Plus II.

2 small new additions to my space-limited arcade...
Even had to import pennies to play them! Expect to play these at the Ottawa Gameroom show come September.

Those two are so cool.

Had no idea they existed and quickly looked them up. Pace Manufacturing Co. made a bunch of games! You need 'Pen-Nee-Golf'!

Yep, it's an extended production, they are made from the leftover remaining casts!

Pen-Nee-Golf is the game same as Whiz Ball, but with different graphics

One more project finished. This thing was beyond rough. Half the paint gone, bottom panel rotted, and playfield needed to be swapped. So...

- new cab bottom
- cab completely redone
- backbox rebuilt
- most power connectors repinned
- playfield swap done
- countless parts changed
- metal polished

Owner will change the flippers himself. On to the next one.

5 Jacks is circa 1930 (though mine is a recast done 25 years ago or so)
The Arrangeball is assumed to be 1975, and is definitely the most addictive pachinko-style machine I've ever played.
You can search "Arrangeball" on youtube for lots of gameplay vids, but why not just come to the Ottawa Pinball/Gameroom show in September? Every game in my "countertop" list in my signature will be there to play!

Cool! If all goes well, I'll be at the Ottawa Pinball to play them all and then take home that Arrangeball, thanks Cait!

HEY WAIT, NOT FOR SALE!!!

BTW is your Computer Pachinko working well? It would be great if you could bring it to the show and we had multiple bingo variants in a row to showcase Japanese machines

It is a slow rise from the bottom to the top my friends.
It is a far greater thing that we do from what was, to what it should be, or will be.
It is something beyond the generation that we are, to teach that next generation what to become.
It is something so far removed from our upbringing, our teaching and our training to anticipate any of this.

I've begin my Super Chexx restoration by cuting vinyl with the plotter machine for remaking all the faded lines on my PF. (thanks to my friend Ti-Guy for the plotter machine loan...)
after all lines and letters refreshed, i gave 3 automotive clear coats on PF.

My next step is to put all players numbers and names on the shirts.

Aug.18th: Finally brought that Black Pyramid home... time to part it out. Use it to fix others, as it has no backglass...

Aug.19th: Hey... I just bought a Sinbad project. I could save that one...

5 minutes later: ... I just bought a Stern Disco! I never played that one. Cool...

Aug.20th: Fuck... lots of backlash over parting out a pin no one seemed to ever like... OK, fuck it... I will save Black Pyramid.

Aug.21st: I will never find a backglass for this thing...

Aug.22nd: ... I found a backglass...

Aug.23rd: (Quote a Borderlander: Hey Sparky, here is an ad in FB:) Oooohhhh A Sega Turbo... Hmmm... I can save that. OK, fuck it, let's go for it.
