I dug out 5 classics out of a basement. They had been there for over 35 years. Unmolested and other than a bit of coindoor corrosion due to cat pee, super nice.

Very nice! I don't think I've ever seen Mouse Trap or Lock'n'Chase. Played them a ton back in the day on home consoles. Colecovision had a great mouse trap and Intellivision had a great LNC.

Yes, they damage surfaces... by pissing on them. Hence the rust on the coindoors. Lol

Easiest way to resolve this "pet" issue: allergies... :)

Family as a whole are very allergic (Claritin doesn't cut it) to almost any live animal...therefore no pets in the house! :D

However, we had to "sacrifice" the backyard to make the residence's animal lovers happy...

At least we don't need to purchase eggs or fertilizer/manure... :shit
+++++++++++++++++
Welcome to...Frosken Pinball!

Current working Pinball Machines: ONE...err...TWO!!! :rock :rock (Bally Black Jack SS, Capcom Flipper Football #2)

Current Arcade1UP Machine: Final Fight (pending pickup...down South)

After a 8-year hiatus, I'm back in the hobby...but with a thinner wallet.

Wanted: The impossible... (i.e.: a 1990-2020 pinball machine priced like they were in 2005-2010...) :FP: :FP: :FP:

Gone but (mostly) not forgotten:
- Bally: Nitro Ground Shaker, City Slicker
- Bally/Williams: Black Rose, BS Dracula (x2), CFTBL, Dirty Harry, Getaway(HS2), Indy500, Judge Dredd, Shadow, Slugfest
- Capcom: Breakshot, Flipper Football
- Gottlieb: El Dorado, Big Shot, Bounty Hunter (project), Gold Wings (Project)
- Stern: Big Game, Cheetah, Meteor (x 1.5)
- Williams: Big Guns, F-14 Tomcat, Fire!
- Misc.: Hit The Ice non-dedicated, Hyper Olympics non-dedicated cocktail, Chexx Bubble Hockey

Well, if a cat goes in my face, I have very little time left on this earth. It triggers my asthma BAD and causes my lungs to close up in seconds.

Yes, I lived with a cat when I moved in with my then-future-wife for 2 years. Claritin didn't cut it, at all. I was on Aerius, and the cat was not allowed in the basement where our room was. So at least I had a bit of a break for my immune system. But... a side-effect of prolonged use of Aerius is back pain. So, I was also on Robaxacet for those 2 years.

It was wonderful.... All for having an animal that usually doesn't give two shits about you. LOL. And yeah, I can ear the cat people now... "a cat's love is earned"... fuck that. I have enough ungrateful kids in the house, I don't need to BUY another dependant that could not care less. LOL

One of my wire forms was broken off in the playfield. Got myself a wire jig and some 3/32” stainless tig rod and made myself a new one.
Awesome, thanks!

Spent some time doing some electronics.

Cleaned up some shoddy IDC connectors:

Cait001 dropped off a misbehaving coin op game from the old country. Took an audit of parts that needed to be swapped out due to age/overheating.

This ball gets stuck in the payout channel, which energizes all the lights and chimes on make instead of break. Everything inside was toast. Solenoids, diodes, resistors… but I'm sure Cait will post a more detailed writeup when she gets it all back together.
