Finally got my hands on a second Midway Vegas board. Have been trying to get my NBA Showtime /NFL Blitz cabinet going for the longest time.
Actually picked the cabinet up for free, but have sunk hundreds into it (U5000 chassis rebuild, new power supply, PCB parts, etc).

Working on pins at Bluffs Pinball and at home. 1 x STTNG fixed, repaired and playable and off to Drano so he can do his magic with it. STTNG at home is finally playable as of this morning. No Fear DMD replaced and a happy pin again at Bluffs.
Sparky and a couple of the Bluffs crew have Space Shuttle, Rollergames, Flip Flop, Future Spa and Alien Poker all tournament worthy again. That puts our count at 25 tournament calibre pins ready with plans to have 4 more ready by Saturday.

Sparky and Chris Y and myself finished off all the small repairs this morning at Bluffs.
Well, Sparky did and Chris Y and I were present for some of it. 27 tournament playable pins on the floor.
3 more on legs that require parts. A great week at Bluffs.

Huge thanks to Sparky. Thanks to Kevin, Chris Y and all the Bluffs regular management. Much appreciated.

Can you actually slide this along the side of a cabinet and then stitch the artwork together?
I've thought about a scanner for artwork reproduction, but I would imagine that there is a bit of color correction to do before printing.

Finished stripping, cleaning and reassembling BSD tonight. Too late to play test it, but I'm sure that will get done tomorrow! It was off for so long the batteries died and did a factory reset....

Received this today!

So turns out my mother in law had a friend who mentioned that years ago he wrote a pinball book, and asked if I wanted it!

Geez. Added another cocktail to the gameroom. Needs trak-ball upgrades and other refinement work but should be an enjoyably painful addition.

These days, just trying to keep my head above water. First day at "home office" in 7 weeks...

I started reorganizing the gameroom a bit last night while watching a PPV. No repairs. Slow going with a hectic job, family life, fixing pins, running this site and renovating the house. Not much time for anything else...

I am starting to see the games as boat anchors again. I need to start playing again soon or I might do something stupid and clear out again. LOL

Well I'm trying to fix my Amazing Spiderman pinball with no luck so far. Sylvain is a great help but unfortunately he is too busy to come over. I am looking for someone in Ottawa who can help me out to come over and take a look.
It would be appreciated.

Well I had some issues so a local Pinball guy fixed my power supply/driver board on SST and the re-boots have stopped... then I looked at all the other pins when my youngest said "did you fix the other ones?" My reply was what I thought this was the only problem. So a few bulbs in SST, Broken wire on Hook so skill shot light was out, top lane bulb out, swapped plunger because the side was chipped cleaned PF a bit, missing ball found in TFTC found it jammed under a plastic, repaired pop bumper light swapped old ROMs back in (The wife and I like him laughing) we missed it, Buccaneer needed some sockets replaced, ACDC spot light out replaced, Stern PB shooter rod spring replaced, DE Playboy left flipper adjusted was not working. Bally PB re-seat cables on displays might need a new connector... All back up and running tiptop!

Was on the fence about doing this, but went ahead and installed a full LED kit in my WCS94.

I know to many it will not seem like much but I have been having issues with the displays on my Bally PB so I removed each one today and reflowed all the header pins on each one and now they are all nice and bright with no flicker or having to play with connections to get them to work properly! I'm call That a win. I might start that PF swap yet!
