I got the perfect malfunction on my F14. The kind that only happens in your best dream.
Hitting the credit button also triggers the right coin switch.
Spend a credit, gain a credit. Why can't this happen at the arcade?

Because we don't want to turn into a casino, as in people wearing 'adult underwear', rather then leave their machine. :FP: :shit :shit

Some of you guys need to post pics of your basement storage areas. Sylvain, and Sparky I nominate you both.
Un, nope. Pass. My games are spread out in 3 places. And it's no one's business. Lol.

Just keep this number in mind. 68 machines. And dropping fast. ;)

Well, this does happen at the arcade. Turns out this is not a switch matrix problem. Someone hacked an operator credit button by piggy-backing another switch on the credit button switch. He made it optional with a manual switch near the coin mech. I don't know why someone would bother to do this when you can simply activate the coin switch or put the machine on free play while working on the machine. Sure, the hack works even if you don't have the key, but then you can't turn it off when you are done, so I'm still baffled.

For the same dumbass reason an operator solders wires to header pins instead of just changing the connector pins.

I moved 27 games around (and ripped up a bathroom but that is another story). I am sore. Lol. A realignment was needed to give me quick access to games needing work to be completed latest summer 2021. Moved my own project games from storage to basement.

No days off.

I just got a wonderful email from my youngest's school. A staff member in contact with her has been diagnosed with the virus. They say light risk... but I now have to stay home for 2 weeks to keep an eye out for symptoms.

So... more time for pinball stuff. No travelling for 2 weeks.

Picked up a Scorpion completely untested, but the price was right, so in the van it went....was working on an old Stern Stingray when I got the overtime call for 4 hours this evening and 12 hours tomorrow.
Oh well, keeps me in the $$hobby$$ and retirement next May is inching closer and closer.

Amazed at how fast that Stingray plays.....

Fantastic work!

I have 3 that I am going custom art. Debating between hand painting, or printing out art.

Depends, will that hand of yours also paint some art? :D or else, I'd go for that printing!
