Yeah....I know, not pinball related, but close enough...
So I need a truck to hull pinballs and other stuff, like trailers, ATV and a 19-feet boat. The truck will be mainly used to commute to work and to drive to the cottage off a 20 km dirt road on week ends. It will also be used to do work around our properties.
I am currently considering the following in order of preferences:
1) Honda Ridgeline Sport
2) Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Off-Road
3) Nissan Frontier PRO-X4
I would like to hear from MAACA members that owns one of the above (real experience).
Thanks

Re: Advice wanted: 2019 mid-size trucks
I spent the month of February shopping for a 3/4 size truck, started with the Nissan Pro 4x, moved to the Tacoma and to my surprise, ended up with a full size Ford 150, picked it up 3 days ago.
I feel the Nissan Pro-4x is a dinosaur, body style has not changed in years, basic interior.
Tacoma was very nice but pricey and the Toyota dealerships do not move much on price. If financing, Toyota interest rates suck, %5,8 and that can make a huge difference
Did not look long at the Ridgeline, too much like a car for me and very pricey.
Really pleased I ended up with a full size truck, more comfortable and enough room in the crew cab for a pin.
Will not try and sell you a Ford F150 but will say the remaining 2018s are being cleared out at $10,000 off MSRP,
Good luck, PM me with how things ended up.

I'm a CHEVY guy and always buy at 0% interest . Makes a difference .
I go from dealer to dealer and try to get them to beat last price .
Good luck

Re: Advice wanted: 2019 mid-size trucks
I have driven a Tacoma for over 10 years now. I had a 2005 trd off road, then bought a 2016 TRD off road. Both trucks = fantastic.
Gas mileage on the 16 is great if you drive like a grampa,(which I don’t), and the truck is awesome off road or towing.
Pricey yes, but very reliable and excellent resale value.
I recommend the manual transmission... i got an automatic because i spend a lot of time in rush hour traffic, but the manual gets better reviews.
Check out tacomaworld.com for all the info you want... great forum.
Google tacoma vs ridgeline...
Tacoma for the win, hands down!

Re: Advice wanted: 2019 mid-size trucks
