First MAACA post

Post by steamfitter »

brings back memories

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18140&p=154718#p154718

I was checking some of the old post from 2010

Is there a place or post i can learn more about MAACA , a little about the history . I've been a member for almost 5 years and know very little about the history of MAACA :FP:

Thanks

I promise to write something complete soon on this. In the meantime, I did write a short synopsis in the following thread:

Meh... I think the story needs to be told in more detail. Can't hurt.

I am on my way to Cumberland tomorrow morning, then back to Montreal for a flight to Halifax in the evening. I am back Wednesday.

Things are hectic, but every story needs to be told. Especially since it really started in 2004, not 2010. The old site was archived. archive.maaca.org

Some of the content is still accessible.

That's a blast from the past. I forgot that I heard of MAACA on RGVAC. I haven't read those newsgroups in years

I am also currious about my first post. It would be on the old site.

Tips on tracking it down?

The archive is just a static copy I "tried" to make but it isn't complete. The site was very unstable at the time.

There are no real way of searching through it unfortunately.
