Attached are pictures of the game in question. As you can see it is in excellent condition, has been owned by same guy since 1999. Game works 100%

He was ok with the price, he bought it for less than 1000 back in 99. I didn't think he wanted to sell it, I had asked him before, this time he offered it to me. It is such a great game I couldn't pass it up.

Yes, I've seen the multiball bug before (with other, better players than me!)

One HW bug in the game is something I've only seen one player trigger: If you have two balls in the Supercharger (of course, going in a circle), and you are just an amazing shot (or damned unlucky), shooting the third ball into the supercharger and hitting the trailing ball that's already there will cause the ball to hop up into the air out of the supercharger, arc gracefully into the back of the playfield, and fall through a normally completely unaccessible hole into the bottom of the cabinet! Clunk! You can hear the ball land in the cabinet, and you'll have to get the operator to open up the game and retrieve the ball. I knew a guy who could make that shot anytime he wanted for fun: Clunk!

I value mine at 8k. Completly restored by my friend with lots of new parts, vram, clearcoat, new decals, etc. and all led. Not for sale. One for sale in California new old stock still on pallet at 6k. Might have battery acid damage. Another used in the US at 3850 US with cabinate wear. http://user.xmission.com/~daina/classif ... _sale.html

Well, if we are talking about ALI's Getaway, that is different. Hard to say, as they are not mainstream pins, with weird electronics. You can almost consider them as European pins.

Super interesting layout with the reverse-fed bagatelle-type right side. Quite different.

For a very nice ALI Getaway... 1500$? My guesstimate... If documented NIB home-use only, maybe 2k for a specific buyer. Player quality would be around 1000-1200 if playing ok.

Again, best guesses.

for an ALI 1977 Getaway that was "New old stock machine that is still inside the original factory box siting on a pallet", what are the odds that the boards have survived battery corrosion?
You'll have a beautiful machine requiring a replacement board or a bunch of board work. Depending on how it's mounted, it could be absolutely terrible inside.
