I still have yet to finish watching the movies but Harry Potter could be a great theme, imho.

Boy I hope they're right - I can't understand The Godfather as a theme for a pin.

It's stunning. Eric is amazing. I'm hyped.

2023 has given us Scooby Doo by Spooky, Foo Fighters from Stern, Godfather from JJP,. All mindblowing games.
We also get a new Danesi game for the P3, Queen from Pinball Brothers, and probably a new American Pinball, plus a CGC remake.

We are in a fresh pinball golden age. I dony care that I can't afford any of them, I could afford them in 1995 either. I've got my coins ready. This is a wonderful time for pinball.
backglasses wanted: Star-Jet, Fairy, Star Trek (1971 Gottlieb)
marquees wanted: Roller Aces, Quiz Dragon, Strider, Varkon, Dark Planet, R-Type (w/ship), Quantum, Ninja (Sega)

You can afford them, but your line up will shrink disproportionately.

I don't get this theme at all. I am turning 50 this year. This movie is 50 years old. I'm the target market for this game, but I was 0 years old when the movie came out. I have zero nostalgia for it. I can't be the only one? Foo Fighters I get. They've been around since the 90's, so I was almost in my 20's when they hit the scene.
I grew up with the band and have enjoyed their music. Having a FF pinball now released makes sense.

Is the Godfather pin gorgeous? Yes, you bet your ass. Will I play it, yes of course I will. I just don't understand the target market/demographic for it.

There are themes that are too young (Demon Slayer) and theme's that are too old (James Bond, Beatles). To me Godfather falls in the too old category.

Wouldn't that be a kick ass theme!

Godfather: Remember, they are in Chicago and the designers / owner are also making games that they want, they remember.

Twilight Zone anyone? ever tried to watch a real episode? oof magoof. "To Dad" Larry wrote on the backglass.

and at +10000$, you ain't selling to 16 years old that's for sure.

Wise words. So many of my favourite games have themes I don't connect with. WTF is White Water even? LoL
I don't watch Twilight Zone, couldn't name a single Maiden song, only last week learned what a Foo was, never was into Scooby Doo, and barely remember Godfather. Don't care, these games look amazing.
I think people want themes to champion their nostalgia, but there's so much beyond that rush of something you love being made into a pinball machine.

No need to know movies or to be nostalgic. It's a mob theme and in my opinion the playfield is fantastic. Open for fast gameplay and full of great shots.

If you haven't seen the video, (the best sales pin vid ever done) I highly recommend watching it. This game is taking pinball to a new high. It looks fantastic. I can see the lineups in Allentown this year to play it. In my opinion it will go to #1 on Pinside. Yes, it's expensive. :taz

GNR also looks fantastic. A lot of them on the used market that just don’t sell. It’s not that great of a game. Hopefully GF doesnt just look good but plays good and is fun and not just uunfreds of blinky lights with non stop multiballs.

I agree on Guns and Roses. A friend of mine said you need to complete 2 modes to get a multi ball. This is the video to watch.

That was my first thought after watching the first 77 second Godfather video: whoever they got to produce their video is very good.

Those fancy videos have the opposite effect on me. I feel like it's trying to overhype the whole thing. Or hide some deficiencies. Like they did with GNR.. Feels too exaggerated like an infomercial. lol

Gameplay reveals are more my thing. No fancy bling. Just show me what the game is like to play.

Well...................After seeing the two child games "GALACTIC TANK FORCE: (have you seen the last promo video? :puke ) and "SCOOBY-DOO PINBALL" (worst soundtrack ever and looks like a scaled down version of Flintstones) my money would be on Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, Cactus Cayon Remake or Foo Fighters even though I not a fan of the group and tired of band pins. Are American pinball and Spooky development teams on crack? :FP:
