Do you have any info on a time-frame that the competition will take place? Also, any info on the cost to register and compete?

It will be all day qualifying on Saturday and a playoffs on Sunday, don't know if there will be any qualifying on the Sunday or not.

Awesome, well I look forward to coming out to this event. What better way to spend a hot summer day, then being inside playing some pinball?

Any idea what the hours will be? I am working long hours on the Saturday and want to know if I can stop by later that night.

Methinks it will be open pretty much as long as playdium is open (esp if they do Sat as the only day of qualifying (I'm not saying that they are just that they aren't certain if there will be Sunday qualifying))

Best bet is to throw an email at the addy for the tourney.

I might be down for hosting an after tourney party for July 14/2012 if there is enough interest. I've done it after the last two Championships, figured I might continue the fun, plus it's been quite awhile....

Sounds like a good idea!

Why no qualifying Sunday morning? Did you want to start playoffs earlier to make sure they don't go on forever?

As per Adam's earlier quote it hasn't been 100% decided yet regarding Sunday qualifying

Ah, that makes sense then. If I remember correctly, playoffs last time went really late, and there's a good chance playdium would just shut the power off if things started to go long. Better to be done earlier in the day and have time to tear down.

I'm just wondering, is this the kind of tournament where you can keep purchasing entries to try and better your score, or is there a limited number of tries a person gets?

Pretty sure it will be unlimited entries (that is what the previous Cdn's have been and most tournaments in the US are as well)

Still behind on that.

I've confirmed there is only 1 day of qualifying tho, qualifying will only happen on Saturday, Sunday will be for finals of all the divisions only.

I am going to play in the tourney this year, but not sure which division to go in. I get some pretty decent scores I believe on most machines, but always seem to shit the bed when anyone is watching :D

I don’t mind losing, and prefer a competitive field. Should I go in A or B? What do most collectors on here go under? Can you do those divisions AND the Classics as well?

If you're happy with placing at least 6th place behind TOPL-ites Adam, John, Zeus, Mike, Sean, Andrew, Charles, etc. then join A division!

If you don't mind being in 2nd place, behind me, join B-division! :D
