It really does look fantastic. Really nice work. What is the storey behind how you acquired it? Were you actively looking for this model or did it just fall in your lap? Did you find it locally?

Looking forward to a video audio once it is all working!

Long short story... Wurlitzer 41 was one of my favorite countertop jukebox, never looking for one because it's pretty rare. A collector friend of mine who have one call me to let me know he will have an other one to sell... He remember i told him maybe 20 years ago that was my favorite counter top and want to offer me the first dib.

I was ready for a new project because of all the pandemic shit, so here you go...

Wow, when was that originally made again? Look at those parts, the design and engineering that went into this.. the fact that today, you can go in and actually fix everything is a testament to how it was put together. Can't wait to see things work and hear it!

Fantastic pic! Sure was the golden era of mass production. A quick Wiki search, in 1942 Wurlitzer went on to manufacture bomb proximity fuses for World War II.
You may have one of the last domestic machines they would have produced before going quite another way. Just be careful NOT to trip any wire!!
