Restoring a jukebox is not always fun…

24 aluminium tray to wash, sand and polish, 48 washer, and 24 springs… always surprises me how much dirt it is and still working before cleaning.

Amplificator redone, electronic was already done, so just esthetic parts for it… sand blast and paint… should have the rub-on decal for it this week

Yesterday and today was the mecanism day… not easy to remove 75 years of old grease, oil and nicotine… 12h job!

Everything re-oil and will regrease before put it back in the jukebox

This is pretty much the last piece before I can put back everything together…

After a lot of test, trial and error, I finally found a finish that I like and work. Didn’t want to used the traditional overlay

This my mechanic board with a leather faux-finish

Just need a couple more coat of satin Clearcoat to smooth the finish
