Where the heck did you buy new pilaster cylinder colour sheets? I'm curious because the most difficult part of a restoration is often finding new compatible parts.
Funny! this part came from a ebay seller located in ontario... he did a lot of color sheet and sticker for jukebox

There is two major vendor for repro parts, Victory Glass in the US and Stamann (jukebox-world in deutschland). a lot of small vendor on ebay or marketpace who did repro part also.

W1100 is a very popular jukebox, so there is also a lot of original part

Toujours surprenant de voir la complexité de ces systèmes, et tout ca développer a la main sans aucun support électronique même pas une petite calculatrice, juste des tables a dessin et des règles a calculer manuelles.
The video game i want to play is always the one i don't have :FP:

Today was an other big task…

I want to sand and buff the clear dome, this clear plastic has more then 70 years old, lot of scratches and not so clear anymore…

I start with 1000 sand paper and i go for 1h sanding both side, after 1500 and 2000 with the same among of time. After that buffer with a compound and finish with a glass…

look like it did the job, not 100% perfect, but pretty close, not sure if we can get 100% with an old claer plastic like that

This is the only before pics i have found…

Hydro dipping process update

Look like it’s a lot more complexe because of the size of the door… but the guy who did it he still confident… should take 3 different dip with a clearcoat to lock the job between it

Also had a badluck with the cabinet part when i glue it… have to put some tape to secure it before a spray the glue. I know i have to be carefull with the hydro dipping, but with all the precautions, shit happens

Touch up with some clear, not perfect but pretty close and good enough… more you try, more you risk something else happens
