• Entry fee is $10 per person ($1 to IFPA, $9 to host)

To my understanding, it's a combination of:

1) meet hosts (and their co-domiciles) being auto-invited to each event, which results in about 2/3rds of the available slots full even before the meet is announced, and
2) attendees submitting their RSVPs via PM instead of publicly in the thread

Current season hosts are given spots first if they want them as an incentive to host. Also depends on the host having limits on players. OPL does not limit the amount of players. That is dependant on the host and thier space.

OPL does have extra events that will be happening with additional hosts. these events will be completely open to all.

Just a quick heads-up: this event will be starting at 7pm so that people have time to arrive after work. We are going to go with an alternate format, probably flipper frenzy, in order to make sure the tournament is concluded at a reasonable hour. There are plenty of games for fun play after!

A big Thank you to Sharbil for hosting last night. You have an awesome games room! Also, thanks to Mike, Lisa & Brett for organizing the tourney. I really liked the flipper frenzy format. You get to meet every one on a one to one basis. A big high five to Scott for donating the beauty new OPL trophy and congrates to Geoff for the win. It was a great social gathering night with great people along with a super buffet.
