Looks like it is Sterns new policy not to disclose anything at Expo and wait a little later to have the spotlight all to themselves.

Interesting magnet inside the spinning disk.

There was a rumor the pricing will be more like Supreme than a vault.
There might be substance to that with the new Diamond edition limited to 100 units as pictured in the video.
Road Show, Last Action Hero, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Stargate, F14 Tomcat (in restoration)

From the YouTube blurb:

Stern Pinball wrote:The Beatles and Stern Pinball Announce the First and Only Beatles Pinball Machine Ever Made!

Only 100 Diamond Edition Games
Only 250 Platinum Edition Games
Only 1614 Gold Edition Games
Only 1964 Games in Total

Cute.

Clearly those who frequent this forum are not the target audience. That being said, I won't knock it until I try it. Simple ruleset with some toys. Might actually be pretty fun!

At first glance, it looks like they've done a good job with the theme integration.

if it worked for B66, why the hell not?
I don't mind the Kapow idea of taking a known table, adding some tweaks and toys, and charging rich pinball addicts through the nose. Just goes to show how wide the market is for pins. Lots of people spend my annual paycheque on small cars that only sit 2 people and muss up your hair!

file this oddity in there with Domino's, Jetsons, Thunderbirds, Supreme, and other limited-audience machines. I don't care about them, but I do love the pinball market is big enough for all of them!
Think of how many NIB pins you could order tomorrow if you wanted! What a fascinating time for pinball.

I kinda like it. Not so much the theme or art and I expect an outrageous price tag. It's cool that they went with no ramps and an older playfield design feel. Very counter to what is out there now.

I try and only pay attention to titles when they are ready to ship. Too many failures to launch in the past few years. At least that's the Stern advantage

So here is what is new on the playfield, as far as I can see:
behind the 3 drops on the left there is a target that is revealed.
below those 3 drops there is a large standup target added
2 thin standups added at the 2 loop entrances
magnet added to the top of the loop
magnet and spinning disc added to main playfield
an extra spinner on the left of the pops
EDIT: a 2-ball multiball

And all that on top of a Seawitch playfield... I think this will be a really fun game! It takes a classic layout and does add a bunch of good stuff to it.

As always, code is everything.

Well, I am excited of them releasing classic title layouts in refreshed themes and added features. I would love to buy one of these having the extra coin for it. But I question asking crazy money for it.

This said, I don't know what those amounts will be. So it is hard to judge. But yeah... these are trophies. Not games.

This being said, I respect the nod they give to the original designer, Mike Kubin, with his name on the record player near the flippers. They are not pretending that it is a new design under another designer's name.

So... I give this a thumbs up!

Come onnnnn Lotto Max! LOL
Now playing in Sparky's Power Station: Way too much shit...
