That black and white art with the colour inserts looks gorgeous.
Not since Centaur!!!

I don't know if the mini playfield is worth it. Never played the AC/DC mini playfield, and only did Family Guy/Shrek a few times ever.

But at least the upper playfields all have the same features.

Wow, I had to google Munsters to understand what the hell this is all about.
I've never heard about that sitcom...

At first sight, everything looked like a cheap chinese knock-off.
A bit of Universal Monsters, a bit of Addams Family...

How did the Universal Pictures legal team let that happen back then ?

EDIT : Just read this "Because The Munsters was a Universal production, make-up artist Bud Westmore was allowed to use Jack Pierce’s Frankenstein style as a template for Herman."
MIND BLOWN... I'm even more confused now.

I love this post. It's the best thing I've read in 2019.

Shrek too.

Might be the first mini playfield with a VUK though.

Not clear about that. Every lower playfield using the same ball as the upper playfield needs a lifting mechanism.
How does it work in Haunted House or Black Hole?

Technically you are right but I was referring to a mini VUK for gameplay not ball transfer.

Cool looking game. I like the artwork on the Pro the best, I think. But I do like the black and white of the premium.

Other than the mini playfield, the Pro and Prem/LE seem to have the same features. Will be interesting to see how the mini playfield plays. I didn't like the dynamics on the Family Guy mini playfield and Munsters mini looks similar in terms of ball size and observed flipper strength from watching videos. I'd also want to see how the Herman Munster stands up. I was very disappointed with the quality of the Wolverine bash toy. Herman seems to have similar dynamics. Hoping it isn't the same mechanism.

At the end of the day, it's a great looking game. Nothing particular new or innovative in terms of layout or features. Typical Borg -- fan layout with a bash toy. That's more of an observation than a criticism. I really like Borg games and he's done an amazing job with many games -- Iron Man, Tron, Xmen (I really like this one), Met, etc.

Looking forward to playing it. Was really hyped and looking forward to the reveal. Watched it live. Looks like a fun shooter. I was just hoping for something a little different than standard fan layout. Both Deadpool and Iron Maiden are good examples of changing the layout up a bit. I was hoping they would go in that direction.

Exact same experience as Lowrent.........

Saw the video, thought it was an Addams Family knockoff...

Decided to google "The Munsters" because I have never heard of them. A 70 Episode sitcom that ran from September 24, 1964 to May 12, 1966???

I didn't realize the show was so popular that 55 years later a pin would be themed from it.

Maybe I live under a rock, I should just go back to wrenching on pins now... :FP:

Deadpool wasn't created until the 90's. Even then, he was only in lesser popular comic books. You have a good excuse for not hearing about him.

Munsters I had heard of, and I had seen the show. I never managed to watch an entire episode. It was a knock off of Addam's Family but that wasn't why I didn't watch it. I never liked the Addam's Family either. Both shows were garbage. Maybe it's the fact that it was in black and white? Maybe it was because both were trying to cash in on the original Universal Monsters. I don't know... It just wasn't for me.

I find it Strange so many people say they had never heard of the Munsters. That being said I am a car guy so one of the things that might have steered me to knowing about the show was the car.
"The Munster Koach" It was the family car that was used in the television series, The Munsters. The car was built by the team at Barris Customs, George Barris famed movie car guy did the Bat-mobile and many other movie set cars we see in Pins today as well as Hot wheels re-makes of said cars. But hey I guess I'm old :-)
I notice on the Perm. and LE the lower playfeild has extra flipper buttons and the web armor like Spiderman is cool. Will need to play it and see.
