Worlds better than the old version!
I love that Boba Fett cabinet too, they really did a great job with that makeover.

Re: Stern Star Wars makeover
Yeah that new version look very nice. I still prefer the more realistic look from the first run.
This new version look more retro and it's very cool also.
I feel a new version of the code is coming soon also
I still like this machine the same from the first day. Integration of theme, rules and video are fantastic.
The premium version is by far the more exciting pinball i ever played in my life.
Anything combo with hyperspace multiball is a very deep rush of adrenaline.
I would also like to ask pinballmix to upgrade the soundtrack for all original music, that would be also an huge upgrade for me.

Re: Stern Star Wars makeover
Despite any negativity online, this is a great playing machine.
100 % Steve Ritchie design and a good "fan flavour" feel to the pin.
However, the pin has depth. Strength. Lots to do. And it plays quite fast and smooth.
I do not get hung up on the art work, but I understand these new designs are very appealing to many.
Have a Pro. Like it a lot. Won't sell it unless I upgrade to a premium or an LE. Keeper pin; no doubt about it at all.
And, years ago, I sold almost all my new Stern pins to fund other classic pin acquisitions. I have only recently added some New Sterns back in.

Re: Stern Star Wars makeover
Negativity was only when it was new on the first month. Tons of people make negative comments before they understand this machine. If you read the messages on pinside for the last few months on the Star Wars thread, all are very positive. Lot of people upgrade the pro for the premium and also people with negative comments at first also decided to buy it after they really learn how fun the rules and playfield are.WARLOCK wrote:Despite any negativity online, this is a great playing machine.
