Could be a shill situation but from what I see the backglass is very nice and the playfield has a lot of original artwork left.

Some collectors prefer and will pay pay for an all-original game.

Replacing drops are maybe $50 for a set, lane guides are $1.80 at PBR, Plastics $120 so for $2,300 you have a nice all original game in good shape. Not a crazy deal IMO considering a lot of centaur's did not age well from being subject to many many plays.

I'd say the seller was very lucky. Picked one of in the same condition last year for 2/3 the price. The problem with putting too much faith in the free market is that it doesn;t fully consider these anomalies, and weighs them equally. It'll take a couple of "normal" sales to counter this one.

If you decide to sell your centaur for $1400 I will take it immediately.

Heck, I will take 10 of them in this condition for $1400 each.
