Zipper flipper good or crap

Post by rocket30 »

I never try a real one, just on a virtual pin. Play like crap to much change in the angle of the flipper when in the close position. What you peoplekind think about zipper flipper? Serge

Zipper flippers are interesting but I find them best used as secondary flippers, such as in Medusa. As stated, they modify gameplay a bit too much. Yet they remain an interesting feature. I owned a 4MBC years ago and I liked them. But yeah, once closed, sure, they saved your ball, but the angle made it impossible to aim a shot. It made gameplay quite random.
Patron saint of lost pinball causes.

Stage 5B. All except for NIB crap.

It's a neat, fun novelty feature and enjoy them fine but I wouldn't want one as my only pin.
Pins: Spirit, Centaur II, Af-Tor, Embryon, Black Hole, Elektra, Timeline, Silverball Mania, Panthera, Baby Pac Man, Blackout, Alien Poker
Gone: Space Station, Top Score, Flash Gordon, Solar Fire, Haunted House, Fire (x2), Vector, Bally Playboy, Tropic Isle, Beat the Clock, Blue-Chip, Disco, Punk!, Lightning, Time Fantasy, 8 Ball Deluxe LE, Double Dragon, Stellar Wars
WTB: Black Knight, Fathom, Split Second, Nine Ball
Its better to have played and lost than never to have played at all.
