I'm very impress, the design of the cabinet is superb, only missing for the next owner is to install a bezel.
A great deal for this price !!

Just a quick update on this thread , as I am the very happy new owner of this machine.

We all know Bruno is a great guy and a huge asset to this community,
but he still finds ways to impress the hell out of me.

For one, this was the easiest deal ever.
Bruno agreed to meet me at Pincon (in Hawksbury) and saved me hours of driving.
He also dis-assembled the entire cabinet for easy transport AND wrapped EVERY single piece
in padding and cellophane to protect it from the elements during transport.

The cab itself is a marvel of engineering and would put IKEA to shame.
It was so well designed and easy to assemble that my 12 yr old pretty much built it by himself.
The casters (wheels) on the bottom make it easy to move.

The cab was pretty much plug-and-play with the PC fully MAME-configured and ready to go,
and all the controls working flawlessly from the get-go.

The only real change I made was to reduce the width of the CP because I had space limitations
and had to fit the cab in a narrower spot.

So kudos to Bruno for the best deal I've had in years.

Steph

Sorry, Robotron is my Holy Grail (...as you can probably tell by my avatar... ), so it's not going anywhere.

[ I also have a nice Robo Cocktail not shown in the pics http://www.arcade.chezsuys.com/RoboCocktail.html ]

I've been wanting to complete that Robo U/R cab restoration for years,
and I hope to do so this summer.

--

It was nice to play Robotron again on my new MAME cab,
...but like I said, it's on wheels, ...which is a not a great idea for Robotron ! ;-)
