SOLD!!!: Amiga CD32, accessories and a huge lot of games

Post by the loafer »

Hi everyone,

Time to let go of some of the classic gaming stuff. Note that I have ZERO interest in shipping, I believe in "try before you buy". These consoles and games are old, I can guarantee they work right now and that's it! SO it's important that you get to try them yourself and are comfortable in your purchase. if this limits my audience, that's my issue and I'm cool with that, just can't handle shipping and the associated drama/bogus complaints. If you are interested but are far away but know someone locally who wants to check it out for you and ship it for you, that's one way around it. I'm near Ottawa (Embrun). I visit Montreal every couple of weeks so in SOME PARTICULAR cases (like you are a regular known to be cool member), I'd be willing to deliver, to be negotiated.

Note: this system has been tested, all titles I tried loaded flawlessly. One title (F17 Challenge) gave me some issues but it's not the system, this is a known title that you need to first turn on the Amiga CD32 then once you are at the floating CD screen, then put disc in and close lid. I had a ball testing, played the Amiga CD32 of Defender of the Crown, IMHO an awesome improved remake on the original title

So it's now time for the most obscure system in my collection: the Amiga CD32. This is a north American version (NTSC) however amiga fans know that you can run pal games on it as long as you are connected to a proper monitor that supports the PAL signal. Note that the titles included are the NTSC versions, so you are all good with this package. The bundle I'm selling includes: The Amiga CD32 console, 1 original game controller, 1 PSU, 2 competition pro CD32 game controllers. It also comes with a couple of titles. A couple??

- Subwar 2050 (CIB)
- Fields of Glory (CIB)
- Gunship 2000 (CIB)
- Diggers (CIB)
- Project X - F17 Challenge combo game (CD case)
- Amiga CD32 demo disc (disc only)
- Sleepwalker-Pinball Fantasies combo (disc only)
- The Chaos Engine (disc and manual)
- Defender of the Crown II (disc and manual)
- Castles II (disc and manual)

That it? not quite, here's a "few" Commodore CDTV titles that should work fine with it. Should, but I'm not 100% certain they are all compatible and it's impossible for me to test all of them.
- Chaos in Andromeda
- North Polar Expedition
- Women in Motion
- Scary Poems for Rotten Kids
- Heather Hits her first Home Run
- Lemmings
- Defender of the Crown
- The new basics Electronic Cookbook
- World Vista
- The Case of the Cautious Condor
- Classic Board Games
- Advanced military Systems
- Heroic Age of Spaceflight - NASA the 25th year
- Time Table of history: Science and Innovation
- Time Table of History: Business, Politics and Media
- The Paper Bag Princess
- Wrath of the Demon
- The F16 Fighter Simulation
- Garden Fax Fruits and Vegetables
- Garden Fax Indoor Plants
- Garden Fax Garden Plants
- The new Grolier Electronic Encyclopedia
- le fils d'Asterix disc 1 (incomplete?)
- The Tale of Peter Rabbit
- American Heritage Illustrated Encyclopedia Dictionary
- All Dogs go to Heaven
- Psycho Killer
- Town with no name
- Sim City (disc only)

Some of the titles on the following discs may need an adapter to connect a keyboard to the Amiga CD32. I used to own this adapter, I think I sold it 25 years ago...
- Lock-N-Load public domain CD (NorthWest Public Domain)
- FishMarket (collection of Fred Fish disks #186 through #930)
- BCI NET 1
- BCI NET 2

… and that's it... Price? $260 and you convince your kid to name your grandson after me

edit: system tested 100% working condition
