SOLD: As-is working 1978 Playmatic Space Gambler - $375

Post by sylvain »

For sale:
1978 Playmatic Space Gambler, as-is working.
Too busy at work, and running out of time and space.

The good:
-All solenoids, switches, displays, GI/controlled lamps and sound working.
-Box of spare parts and manual/schematics included.
-playfield is quite nice!
-New AC power cord.
-cheap project to complete.

Things of note:
-Right flipper link needs replacement.
-knocker assembly in head is missing.
-missing small ventilation louver cover on top of head.
-legs are not original to this game.
-coin switches cause MPU to freeze for some reason - but the credit is added after game power-cycle.
-few remaining connectors are intermittent (such as for displays - all low-voltage stuff).
-backglass was hand-painted by one of the prior owner. Not bad actually, but obviously not original.
(there is a Space Gambler backglass on eBay available for $95US from the USA).

$375 as-is, pick-up in Kanata. No warrantee nor support.
Will try to post pics later this week-end if I can. I have already posted here on MAACA about this game, re: switch matrix wire in wrong connector pin.
Please PM if interested.

Thanks!
-Sylvain.

Christ... It looks brand new Sylvain! What a colourful machine. That's what I like about pinball (other than the community) there is always another pin that I've never heard/seen.

GLWTS!
