Kinda noticed this as well.
Maybe just local market, winter type thing.

Personally I'd love this game ( on my super short list )but bought old house and must prioritize.....

Prices are getting a little prohibitive lately as well.
Not that this pin isnt worth the $.

Back to being a bottom feeder I guess....

I don’t think it’s a market issue. This seems like a collector quality BK2000. And it’s priced accordingly. You need to find someone who is specifically searching for this game in that condition.

I wouldn’t mind having that game either but in the 4k$ + range you can get wpc games in playing condition. A Tommy just sold for under 4$k(not working of course) but it makes u think.

Collector quality games are a niche market within a niche market.
Current Lineup:

PINS
STTNG - Alt translite, Pinstadiums, Pinsound board & speakers, full LED, LED&GI OCD, custom topper, ColorDMD
Road Show - full LED, LED&GI OCD, custom topper, ColorDMD
Doctor Who - Alt Translite, moving Dalek, full LED, Pinsound & shaker, LED&GI OCD, ColorDMD
Stern Jurassic Park LE - Pinstadiums, custom topper, bunch of mods (Mezelmod)
Revenge from Mars - Running custom v2.21 on original hardware, saucer LED mod, external sub
Medieval Madness Royal Edition

WANTED:
SW Prem (or maybe LE)
LOTR

JUKES
Rock-Ola 446 - Up and running. May sell soon.
Seeburg STD2 Entertainer - Converted to MP3 while retaining the original look and feel.

Gone but not forgotten
So many... Monster Bash, Twilight Zone, Lord of the Rings, Simpsons Pinball Party, Demolition Man, Terminator 2, Funhouse, Tales from the Crypt, High Speed, Bad Cats, Flintstones, WWF Royal Rumble, Laser War, Laser Ball, Silver Slugger, Batman Forever, Pinbot, 6 Million Dollar Man, Galaxy, Meteor, Countdown, Hot Tip(SS), and others I just can't think of lol.

My 2 cents on market pricing. I recently sold a fully restored Xenon and it was a struggle to fend off low-ballers. But in my estimation, we have passed a pricing peak. A lot of escalation occurred as our dollar dropped against the $US. Then pricing went high and the market got really active. Since then machines have started to sit for much longer than they used to. I think we have a new normal that is lower than a year ago. It happens in every market (housing, collector cars, etc). Prices fall months to a year after the peak, in the meantime items sit unsold. It is about a year now.

BTW, I am super interested in BK2K and would love to come look at it.

I'm more in line with MIke's thinking. Collector quality games take time to sell at fair market value. You are looking for the person that wants a collector quality game AND is willing to pay for it.

In terms of prices, they are still climbing in the US. Look at Pinside. Prices for C titles continue to go up. I think part of the issue is the quality of pins coming out. Both Stern and JJP are having quite a few issues out of the gate. Makes people start considering other alternatives, I know I have. And when you can grab 2 C titles for the price of one new Stern Pro, it just makes sense. And JJP pricing is even higher. You could grab 2 C titles and maybe a low end Sys. 11 for the price of one new JJP.

It's a wacky world! Maaca had that WPT that sat forever and the Victory lingering for a steal.

Perhaps we have to address the new reality: OTTAWA PINBALL HEADS ARE ALL OUT OF ROOM

Anyways Shootagain, your game looks beautiful. GLWTS

Thanks Cait!

I love BK2K and I’m in no rush to see it go.
The asking price reflects the above.
This is a vey nice example but far from being collector quality.
I’m a bit negotiable on the price and would entertain trades.

Beat the Black Knight! Give me your money!
You can do it! You can do it!
