I only recently picked this up because of the border reopening, but when I bought it I had the time and space for it. Now I have no time, no space.
What a wonderful little project for the winter: a German slot machine! Are you tired of redoing edge connectors? This machine uses zero electricity. It's purely mechanical, so why not treat yourself to a project that involves only wood and metal?
Unlike American slot machines, this German machine has a button where if you don't like your first number you can press the button to loosen it and see if it advances to another reel number.
the machine takes coins and when you pull the handle the reels actually do spin a bit:
It seems like the only thing missing is a bit of the tube to guide the coins into the payout tube.
I am asking for just what I have into it $300 CAD obo
Here are two videos of fully working Novomats:
There are lots of people online who work on these slot machines. They were as common in Germany as Mills machines were in USA, and similarly built like tanks. (i.e. they used strong metal, not flimsy metal that was prone to wear and breakage)
