SOLD - Medieval Madness Royal Edition

Post by mrmikeman »

As discussed in the other thread I am listing my MMrRE for a bit less than current market value based on recent Pinside SELLING price(19k-21kUSD) of this game since there are so few in Canada. I am asking $22k CAD(firm) which is about 3-4k less than Pinside value.

Approx 2400 plays.

Pics here:

If it doesn't sell locally at my asking price then it will go up on Pinside in April for sale to the American market and I will deliver to Allentown in May.

Very very nice game.
How do you calculate Pinside value?
Is there a special method that you use?
I'm curious.

You go on Pinside and look at the last few months of archived(completed) sales. There you will see that most are in the 19-21k range. Some are higher, some are lower. It's why it's called an average! :)

Yes but some people would also add HST since you'd have to pay that to bring it across the border from "the American market", so all considering, $22k CAD is a great price for this game.
Sadly, I'm about $19k short of this dream title :)

I've been asked about trades a few times and I realize it can be difficult to amass that much cash. So here is my stance on a trade:

While I'm not really looking for anything other than making space for my incoming games, given the production delays I could consider trading the Royal for a lesser valued game + cash as long is it comes out to about the same value. I am not interested in a 2 for 1 trade. I use Pinside sold prices of the last few months to kind of get an idea of relative value for trades. I'd consider something I could sell in a few months when my games do come in.

I am not a fan of older games anymore so no WPC stuff. I am also not a fan of incomplete games so no Stern Pros (this is my opinion on Pros which isn't necessarily shared by others). I am a topper man so games with toppers have a special place in my heart lol. The list is pretty limited but it is what it is.

Games I'd consider:
JJP: Wonka LE or CE, No for SE
CGC: MBLE or AFMLE (LEs because I love the toppers)
Stern (prem or LE): GZ, Rush, Met, Mando, GB, BM66, TWD. No other Sterns please and NO PROS!
Multimorphic: P3 platform (I would just change my Weird Al order to the game module only instead of the full package)
Spooky: None
PINS:
Labyrinth (#21)
Jurassic Park LE (#449)
JAWS Premium
Scooby Doo CE (#141)
MultiMorphic P3 with all 7 current modules + all mini-games currently available
Star Wars Prem
Star Trek the Next Generation

That fancy looking staircase has quite a story...

It was hand-built by the original owner/builder of the house.

He was an Engineer working at the NRC and he designed and built the house in 1963.
We bought it from him in 1999. (...he was quite the character..)

I have the original architectural plans for the house, and a very detailed plan for the stairs.
Each step is different in size and curve radius, and the guard-rail was custom-forged to exact specifications.
It's really quite impressive from a nerdy engineering point-of-view.

So no, the staircase is not for sale/trade... ;-)
(...and sorry for hijacking the thread... )

I feel your pain, that's the main reason why I'm pretty sure I won't make the move, because while I'll be waiting, I'll have nothing except RFM and SWEP1 if I sell TZ. :FP:

It's a $2000USD deposit only. Payment isn't required until the game goes in production. You could just sell the TZ in time for production and then you'd only be down to p2k for about 1 month.

Does this mean that we can play against each other on line??
Here's the answer I got from Multimorhic:

Thanks for your email and your interest in our P3 platform!

All P3 base models come with your choice of artwork package though most of our customers tend to pick artwork that goes with the playfield they decide to add on to their order. The System Core artwork is replacing our traditional P3 Generic artwork, but if you prefer the traditional one, we could accommodate that.

All new machine orders have a current lead time of 12 months, with or without a playfield. The machine is the longest lead time item that we offer.

If you have any other questions or need anything else, please feel free to let us know.
