Fantastic video. Great commentary throughout. I could have done without the ribbon ads but that was a minor complaint.

I had totally forgotten about the Crossbow game. I dumped so many quarters into that one. Ha! Good memories!

I am in the process of rebuilding my mame standup arcade cabinet's control panel. The actual wood panel is being slowly build as time permit.
On the menu : adding a pair of spinners, one trackball, a set of leafswitch buttons/joystick and lightguns. The CPO is almost double the one I originally made for the cabinet, nearly 10 years ago.

Recently I changed the gun on my actlab lightgun and looked at changing my VGA CRT

Yesterday I started to work on the connector that'll be installed on the front panel for the gun to reach the insides.

Both 'Video Game' & 'Pinball', I finally got around to replacing those damnable Bally Pots that are always bad on my Granny & The Gators Vidiot board.
all 10k pots replaced!
all 10k pots replaced!
Makes for a beautiful, *stable* picture.
Still needs some minor tweaking. Adjusting with a mirror is hard!

Previous owner made the cap kit and the flyback. This second operation consist to change two broken pots and the big filter cap in the same time. Good news, i saw the picture of the game for few seconds but it disappears when i try to adjust the bad pots.

Awesome.

Do you like the picture ??
Finally the problem was fairly simple to solve but it took lot of time to read and learn before i can understand what were the possible cause to this dead monitor. Ordered parts, installed new pots, make adjustments and voilà :) :)
By the way i removed the transistors and put new ''pate thermique'' to dissipate heat better than the old and dry one.
