Room for new members?

Post by FragrantPizza »

Hello everyone,

Not sure what protocol is here but I'm wondering if you have room for any new folks? I love pinball and I can't believe I've lived in KW for 8 years and not known about this league! :)

The protocol is to edit your profile and put your location so other local "KW" (what ever that means!) can find you! ;) ...

Welcome!

Unfortunately we're now in a position where we are at maximum capacity. TRUE. We can't normally handle more than 20 otherwise we'd be playing all night. If you wanted to drop by on March 20th - as I am hosting - we'd like to say hi and you can meet the group. We just can't have anyone playing machines that are in the lineup for the night.

We run a waiting list if you are interested in being added to the list shoot me a pm with your name. Contact Randy (Silverball) or Dan (Squidvicious) to get on the list.

And what's with all this KW talk, it's the TRI Cities, you're missing the best part. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! :D

10 Pins - Firepower, STARGATE, ST 25th, Whirlwind, White Water, Joker Poker, BSD, Iron Maiden, Royal Flush, ST:TNG
1 Slot - 3 Reel
3 Vids - Rush the Rock x 2 linked, JVL iTouch 9
4 nut machines (seems appropriate)

Wish List never to have to use another freaking token or coin for as long as I live

Gone from lineup - Pinbot, Area 51 Site 4, GT2005, Carnevil, F-14, Diamond Lady, Judge Dredd

Cambridge has myself, Jim and Davester.

Waterloo has high property taxes, a host that uses tokens and the Diamond Dude.

End of discussion.

The Diamond Dude in Waterloo doesn't even have a sweet sub :FP:

All the more reason not to live there or be seen there.

Can't argue much there.

Haha - I'm so happy I have contributed to the ever popular debate of the tri-cities and which city is best! I always thought it was obvious that the answer was Kitchener but I guess not... :)

I will DM you guys my info to be put on the waiting list and really appreciate the offer of swinging by on the 20th. I'm outta town that week but am definitely interested in meeting up at a future event.

I really love playing and am sad to say that to this point I still do not any machines myself. Most of my playing takes place when I'm in Vegas and I visit the PHOF for a day or two each trip. :)

There are few pins on location in the area.

There is an ACDC at the gateway park theatre that I played on Saturday.
It was a little dirty and the flippers were a little spungy but it played alright.

A league member has a Mustang on location in the laundry mat on Victoria.

Lasertag on Hespeler Road has Popeye.

Here is a list of the games on location in Ontario
