Craig's Flipper Frenzy Charity Event - Friday July 19th

Postby Craig » Wed Jun 26, 2019 7:09 am

If you are looking for even more pinball in Kanata on the weekend of July 19-20th, I am hosting a charity event on Friday July 19th with all proceeds going to Pinball for Change.

https://www.facebook.com/events/359148068117963/

Flipper Frenzy Tournament the night before the Pinballers 2019 Ottawa Pingolf Open. Two 90 minute sessions with a winner declared after both 90 minute sessions (no playoffs).

24 player maximum, doors open at 5:30, events starts at 7pm sharp

20 Players to start will play a random game against a random opponent. 8 players will be in queue. Players will play in the order indicated. After the game, Player 1 will stay on same game and become player 2 against the first person in queue. Player 2 will go to the back of the queue.

After a win, the winner will get a +1 and the losing player will get a -1. The Player with the best plus minus score at the end of two 90 minute sessions will be declared the winner.

Cost of this event is $15 with $14 going to The Pinball for Change Charity and $1 for IFPA fee.

Can message me or Mike to register and be added to the list. Payment can me made at the door or by e-transfer for craig.morse@rogers.com

Still a few spots left for the main event, Pinballers 2019 Ottawa Pingolf Open, info can be found here:

I've PM'd Craig, but just in case I don't hear from him could someone send me the address again? It's been a while since I've been there. Thanks!

Had a really fun time.
Great relief to a super stressful week.
Thanks Craig for hosting, and all involved.
Being busy with the regular 1st world problems leaves me too often stessed and rushed.
(Taking nonsense too seriously lately ) .
I forget to slow down and have fun.
And that, was FUN.
I didnt come in last either! :D

What a great night. I was completely burnt out from the work week and this was exactly what I needed. It was great seeing everyone and talking to everyone. I had a blast playing all of the games, except for Munsters. If I never see that game again it'll be too soon. What a steaming heap of Stern that is.

Oh, and thanks to Colin for tossing me the address again. Without it, I wasn't showing up.
