Hi everyone, I've decided to put my Surfer up for sale. Many of you already know the history of this pin, but if not you can find some of my repair logs within the MAACA walls and other pinball forums. This was my first EM and it was a mess when I bought it.

Pros:
Fully functional game. Set up for Freeplay. I won't say working 100% because I just noticed the TILT light is not coming on. Socket needs to be hard soldered or replaced. Is 99% working fair?
Cons:
Cosmetics/Asethics are rough
Backbox has some damage.
Backglass has some peeling. Sealed by previous owner.
Front and one side of the pin was painted white.
Some rust on mechanicals, but does not affect gameplay.

This one is not for me, however I can appreciate all the detailed pics, thorough description of the work you've done on that game and the honest review! Nicely done! Thanks for this, the research tread was very interesting indeed. GLWS!

Re: FS: Gottlieb Surfer 1976
Thanks. It has been a journey for sure! I'll keep working on it and cleaning it up. As I do, the price will slowly creep up. It's a great opportunity for someone to get in on the ground level and purchase a reliable game. They just need to be willing to overlook some of the aesthetics, and/or put some elbow grease into it.World_of_Warships wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 12:50 pmThis one is not for me, however I can appreciate all the detailed pics, thorough description of the work you've done on that game and the honest review!
