WTB 4 Player Target Alpha

Postby Craig » Tue Feb 13, 2018 6:32 pm

I am trying to track down a 4 player Target Alpha.

Would be my first EM.

Played this in my youth

I am concerned I might loose interest after while.

Your thoughts on this game?

Losing interest is normal after a while I would say, and that's for any pin.

That's why people do rotate them.

Go ahead and do it, then sell/change once you are done. You live only once

I would recommend against, especially since you're a technical player.
I have a general problem with this layout (which exists for 7 different games I know of) in that you tend to get down to one dumb drop remaining that you flail for.

Problem with Target Alpha specifically is you get all of the drops down and they do NOT reset on this game. They only reset at the beginning of the next ball. So if you have your heart on this specific title/theme, be sure to wax it heavily and crank up the slope and make it brutally difficult, or else you'll be wondering how many times you can schatz the inlanes for 1000 before the ball finally drains.

At the price Target Alpha is selling, just buy it and put it in the garage for this summer..so you’ll get the pin you were playing in your youth and you wont get bored as quickly as having it setup in your basement.
It's only Pinball! Carry on, BUCKO!

Don't get sucked in and overpay due to emotional attachment.

It's a great game! Great for competition. I'll never sell mine.
