I would also suggest spending some time to learn who the seasoned veterans are, and the styles of social discourse and camaraderie that this and other similar hobby sites engender so as not to take it so seriously or their posts so literally. For the most part people communicate online very differently than they do so in person.
Keep in mind that this board isn't a commercial opportunity to make some money selling arcade and pinball machines. It's a place to share opportunities and knowledge with other hobbyists. Be prepared to answer questions if your posts and pricing don't fit a well established but informal model for such.
