The wall is finished on both sides from the cabinet, and now it´s time for the backbox integration. First i cutted out a triangle for both sides....... and also on the bottom is a small part of wood for the finish.

The backbox with the fixed parts from both sides, and also the backbox has gotten new black colour. Certainly better, if all is refurbished now, getting a new look also behind the pcb boards. And last but not least, the backbox has a new topper, which is removable and fixed with two bolts.

I decided, cutting out each stone now for the facade. That i don´t loose the overview, i made the complete draft around, and each stone got his number. More than 300 stones to create.......

Cutting out each stone, then sanding the edges and fixing with glue and two small nails...... tremendous work which takes no end. Finally i needed a complete week to manufacture all stones.

The stones are all fixed now, also inside from the backbox. And also the milled pillars were fixed now at the edges from the backbox. The walls on both sides have gotten end plates, which will get some nice engravings on the top.

That´s right, with every step the game will be more heavy
Now i create the pillars finish for the bottom and the top, turning a piece of wood on my machine.

The wood for the lockdown bar is made and connected with the object. That means, that the complete unit is removable now and fully integrated. Now it´s time to prepare all for the paintings, and first all nails holes must be closed with putty. Sanding all down and repairing some small damages......

Very nice work George. I would love to see that in person as pictures rarely do this type of craftsmanship the justice it deserves. Thank you for the updates.
I notice your Wizard-Blocks cabinet next to it. Any chance you could provide us an updated picture on that one as well?
Tom.

Re: SpecialPinball - Indiana Jones short mod artwork
Hello Tom! Sometimes i have some very very small problems to understand but don´t worry, for me it´s allways a great chance to learn more and more. I assume that you would love it to see my work in reality, because it would give a better impression like pictures...... sorry..... if my workshop would be in British Columbia, you would be allways welcome like all other members from this forum !!!
I can promise you, that the updates from my wb project were coming in january 2017, after this job here is done.
Another picture from the movable lockdown bar, and it works 100% Before the painting job will be done, i finish the back from the game. Only a few repairs must be done with putty to get a smooth surface.

Playfield is ready now to be mounted into the cabinet, i hope this will be in a few days.....
Now the painting must be done, here we go. For first all engravings and gaps between the stones will get a very dark brown colour.

First the complete cabinet will be painted with a very bright primer colour. That´s important now, because after this first step i can check all surfaces for small damages.

Re: SpecialPinball - Indiana Jones short mod artwork
I don´t know why, but once a day i will get a call.......
There is another very great project in my head from a current game, would be wonderful if this game would come into reality! To a public location in north america, and it would be also a great promotion for this company.......
Allright, now a short update. I´m glad that this paintings were done, it was a very difficult job. Now i´m removing all parts from the coindoor, the coindoor will get a wonderful new design. And also the plastic sheet is cutted out for the cabinet´s illumination, with the missing parts from the letters. Plastics were ready for the mounting, i show the complete result in some days.

Preparing now the illumination for the Indiana Jones letters. Cutted out some sheet of plywood, drilling the holes for the lamps base, and painted the missing wood letter parts.
The plastic sheet is fixed behind the letters, Indiana Jones letters are complete now. Tested with a light behind the plastic, and it´s wonderful!!!

Completing the illumination boards now with the lamp base and wiring. The illumination will be stocked with white leds. Finally the board will get a sheet of plywood on the top, and now the complete boards were ready to be placed towards the cabinet. Now all is done, that the wiring harness can be placed to his location. In a short time the playfield can be moved inside......
