actually if any of you wanted to change up your game a bit now's the chance.. just order them as clear (perhaps at a discount?) and colour them yourselves with some Krylon. :)

Wow... they look great. I might splurge and buy a set, just in case I fall under the charm of another midget. ;)

Good Afternoon Guys,
It has taken some time, but the day has come. The ramps arrived, have been installed, and tested. They are GREAT! It is so nice shotting at ramps that aren't damaged, easier to hit the shots now too, since there are no ramp repairs that the ball has to avoid!

So, the details. Ramps are $150 per set, shipped. They will ship to you in about 2-3 weeks. You can send payment to lapean111 (at) gmail.com via paypal. We are making about 30 sets initially, so let me know if you want more then one set.

Also, please email me with any questions.

Thanks for the patience guys, and I can't wait for you to get your hands on these things. They look so good!

What's the gameplay like?

Sounding like interest... Premier games won't even be able to escape from the black hole.

Genesis is an interesting game. Spell the various body parts to open the chamber below the playfield to reveal the "monster". The ugly-ass translite and the perpetually broken ramps turn most people off, but it really is a very fun game.

I think these new ramps look great... maybe even better than the original opaque/pink ones. Almost makes me want to buy a set just in case I ever need them. It's not like this opportunity will stick around for long.

Genesis is a great game.. I agree, the translucent ramps are better than the opaque ones for the simple matter of seeing more of the playfield.

I really hope this guy's going through Steve though.. otherwise, get these ramps while you still can

The next attempt at repro Genesis ramps by the same fellow who made the High Speed ramp repros are almost for sale!

Freeplay40 is also working with Cliffy and his new Genesis ramp protectors. Very exciting!

No chance of that happening.

Freeplay has already done well-received repro ramps for High Speed and Space Station. Next up is Swords of Fury, both upper and lower ramps.

I'll believe it when I see it. I am still out of that money, and so is another member of MAACA that I know of. THIS is the reason why I don't own a Genesis today. It is one of my favorites, but every time I see one, I am reminded of the ramps.

I'll post pics when I receive and install the clear ramps I'm expecting for my Genesis.

But, yeah, I followed the 'webfart' ramp story and it's really unfortunate how it all went to crap. Vengeance (Adam) did end up with a pair of those repro ramps with a Genesis he owned and, if I remember correctly, he was not impressed. Very fragile, I believe.

Anyway, I'm proud to admit I started bugging Mark 11 months ago for Genesis repro ramps after seeing the HS results ... and I didn't even have Genesis at the time!

Check out the links I posted. Great pics, explanations and even offers riveting, if necessary.

Thanks for the update Kev. Good to see this attention to detail.
