Almost home with a trunk and trailer tetris packed with 2,000+ pounds of the stuff pinball dreams are made of. We welcomed 7 pins to our country this morning. Great times all around... will post more later. Hope everyone made is home safe and sound.

What a fun crazy weekend. My first time to A-town. My obligatory pilgrimage to the land of pinball. Fueled by Yuengling and pretzel rolls. Fun times. Crazy times. All good.
Here are a few pictures of the guys playing pinball tetris with a u-haul at the hotel.

A few unobtanium parts. Gottlieb 40's art deco style ball shooter housing (been looking for one of those for over 4 years!). Small parts and a Bally lift top playfield glass frame for '67 to 'early '74 pins.
Lots of good deals, really interesting EM's.
Only 2 bingos in the whole place, nothing interesting.
My major machine purchases were pre-arranged before the show and we had very limited space so I couldn't indulge too much.
Lots of very interesting games in the free play area.

Arrived back at 5:30am this morning: Tired! Had a great time, pinball-wise. Purchasing-wise, not like "the old days" for sure. I'll make a proper Show Report post tomorrow, but for now, just want to congratulate Jason on his 1st place finish in the Tournament: Way to show those Yanks what a true Canadian Pinball Player can do!

We presented ourselves at the border with passports in hand. We declared the total dollar value of all purchases in USD with receipts to back up each purchase. We went into the CBSA building and declared again the total dollar value of all purchases with receipts to back up same (keep in mind some of these receipts were written on the back of a napkin with the vendors name and phone number), the customs officer converted the total amount declared in USD to CAD at the prevailing exchange rate and deducted our $800 goods tax exemption and we paid tax (13% HST in my case as a resident of Ontario) on the amount declared exceeding $800.

All in all we were in and out in about 5 to 10 minutes because there was no one else in line at the border likely because it was 1:30am.

Friday was the Classics tournament, Saturday the Main. There were Women's and Juniors' divisions for both.

Jason's victory was truly impressive! He waited until the last ball of the last game for added suspense...
