The sequel to the original Sega game Zaxxon - Super Zaxxon takes things to a new level - including the replacement of the final robot with a dragon!

Who will grab the crown and high score glory?

Canada PinCon takes place June 3 - 4 2017. It is my goal to have a cabinet at the event so any VFVLers that are able to attend can take a turn at trying to achieve the high score live among fellow competitors.

Kudos to all VFVLers for seeing an entire season through to the end!

Calling all VFVLers

Due to a crazy weekend that got a bit crazier with family events, I won't be hanging out at the Canada PinCon to encourage you to battle it out for high score on Super Zaxxon on Saturday and a good part of Sunday.

For those VFVLers in attendance, you can find Super Zaxxon on the Pac Man cabaret. It looks like this:

The games are generally arranged alphabetically, so once you select Super Zaxxon icon with the joystick, simply hit the white start buttons - one player or two players. And then you're off!

I will tabulate final standings heading into this weekend by tomorrow morning. I anticipate that it will be a neck-and-neck battle for the VFVL regulars!

UPDATE - I noticed this weekend that I cut off a week of gameplay so I corrected the dates to include one more week. We are almost there VFVLers - lets post some scores and get one full season officially under our belt! High score awaits!

I picked this game specifically for its brutality in case there were a number of us at the PinCon -- that way, there would be no worries about marathon games and we'd all get a crack at putting up a score.

Let's keep the score submission open the rest of the day, and I'll tabulate the overall scores later this evening!
