Looks nice so far. Not much shown but did notice a couple toys of Groot and Rocket. Was hoping for hand drawn comic style art but looks like images from the movies. Tomorrow will be the full reveal. Will reserve judgment till then. Decent sneak peek though.

Interesting, can't wait to play it.

I am curious, what's with someone hand drilling stuff on a completed playfield?

Probably just for show. Put saw dust on a playfield and fake dremmel it to show crafstmanship.

I'm done with being excited for a new Stern. They dropped the ball too many times. I'll hold off ANY excitement until it's released and people start playing it.

Even after a few months there are still the Stern unknowns:

1. Playfield issues
2. Cabinet issues
3. Have they cost cut something out? P
4. Code issues. Will it ever be coded completely. And, if so, when.
5. Longevity of the new Spike system

The game will immerse players in a dynamic, challenging, and galactic pinball environment where Star-Lord, Rocket, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot battle Ronan to stop him from using the Infinity Stone to destroy the galaxy.

Stern’s Guardians of the Galaxy Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models are packed with features that provide an irresistible gameplay experience. Each game features a sculpted and interactive ball-eating Groot. In addition, a custom sculpted Rocket figure will keep players on their toes as it blasts the ball back at rocket speed. Color-changing inserts highlight the mysterious and interactive Orb, which opens to reveal the powerful Infinity Stone. The Limited Edition and Premium models also feature extra magnets, custom artwork, RGB lighting, and sculpted Groot arms that sprawl across the playfield.

Why are the graphics so washed out on Stern aprons? I thought it was just a bad art department at first but they never fix it. It just looks bad every time.

- I'm fairly certain two of the balls spit out from Groot during Groot MB went straight down the middle.
- YAGOV/Rocket kicker on the left.
- Star Trek ball lock on the right.
- Soooo many plastic ramps that will become unobtainium in the near future.
- Gold trim looks soooo goddy.

- Glad they are using better toys.
- Groot head looks great.
- Rocket looks okay.
- Egg thing looks interesting.
- Nice colours.

- Wishing for Gamora figure.
- Any of the ships would have been nice.

I want to know about the music. The soundtrack is part of what made the movie so great. Anyone heard / have any insight into that?

Thanks, OTTOgd, but I meant for the pin's soundtrack! It would be great if it featured the songs from the movie, but I don't know how licensing works, etc.

It is Stern's policy to release 3 titles a year and that's the third title for 2017.
Disney is promoting that franchise a lot. Everyone expects more Guardians movies in the future. Disney even rethemed a ride at Disneyland's second park and they announced they will be building a new Guardians ride at EPCOT soon.
Judge Dredd, Road Show, Last Action Hero, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Stargate, F14 Tomcat

Looks fun, but after Dialed In and JJPOTC, it seems kinda stale. I hope the theme integration sells it, because yeah I get that JJP pins are many thousands more expensive for all that innovation.
Been a long while since we had a playfield head eat balls, though

I hope Groot talks and is not just a bash target. Moving eyes as following the ball as it hits target would be very cool too. Wonder if the arms have any function on the premium and LE. if they don't then are those arms, and the side graphic blades, fresh coat of paint really worth the $1,700 US difference? I guess we'll find out!

LE.
Not sure if the hands do anything other than look cool and make it hard to see the ball.

I think the main thing people want to know is if the soundtrack music is included.

It isn't. It has been stated that the score is included so the instrumentals. To me, not having the music for GOTG is a fail. Would you make a Dirty Dancing pin without the music? I think not.

I feel very positive about this title. It's very attractive to the eyes :-)
Star Wars was a number one theme for me but never totally fall in love with it and particularly after i saw the game in person and played a few games.
My first impression about GOTG is already very good and feel i will like a lot the gameplay and the visual attraction.
The video game i want to play is always the one i don't have :FP:
