Gameroom Deco!! Infinity Mirror

Post by Mindstorm88 »

That's completely awesome!

I have a 4' round and a 3' triangle mirror I plan on converting (one of them) next month when I finish the arcade. What did you use to do the alternating light pattern?

The leds i use are each one programmable . I'm using 48 leds that have a ws2812 chip. this chip is serial control by a microcontroller. I'm using an Arduino controller for this

My mirrors are 24x24 inches

Maybe I'll just use a strip of colour changing LED's.

This effect was popular on backglasses around 1980 (Xenon, Black Hole, Space Invaders).
It's the first time I see one that is completely see through. Cool effect indeed.

Not from me, but there are a lot on the Net. As for leds controlled, you need to get into microcontroller, or simply buy a controller.
