Is someone in the MTL area is offering Powder coating service & how much would it cost to paint an appron black? 8-)

Finalement je suis aller chez ADN Powder Coat.

Super bon prix! :o

Et, mon apron a l'air d'un neuf. Il me reste juste à mettre les decals et ça va être parfait!

À titre de références, si ce n’est pas trop indiscret combien ça vaut pour un Apron?
L’a tu apporté déjà sandblaster ou si c est eux qui l’ont fait?
Avec ou sans primer?
Combien de couches?
Avec ou sans clear?

Bon, bon... C'est pas facile de prendre des belles photos avec le gloss pis toute mais voilà.

Il a fait le sand blast + powder coat noir high gloss.

Pas au courant du reste, je lui ai laissé les pièces et j'ai juste vu le résultat, primer je pense pas, et sans clear.

Je dirai pas le prix au cas ou ça ferrait chier qqn, mais mettons que ça ma couté plus cher en cacanes de peinture + primer quand je pensais le faire moi même... :oops:

Donc, pose toi même pas la question et vas-y...

Bon...C'est pas parfait, mais mon TOC va se faire une raison à la longue, le décal du bas était pas mal tough à poser, je le trouve 1 ou 2 mm trop bas... :?

Aussi, stay tuned car les photos de ma première resto de machine s'en viennent bientôt. Je finis 2-3 affaires et elle est prête. :D

really nice result!! congrats!! I dont think revealing the price you paid would make people angry, this is the whole point of having a community like this, which is to exchange wisdom, solutions, and help other save. if you found a new place with great services and good price why not letting others enjoying the same service, I am pretty sure the powder coating company would be happy of this type of marketing. we already pay way to much for our game in this era why not saving some $$$ while improving them.

We can never be too cautious, everything you say here could be a potential reason to start a dispute ;) Remember the guy calling the kijiji sellers to tell them their prices were not high enough... :FP:

Since the other place I called asked me 5X the price for the same job, I would not want this to influence ADN to boost their price. 8-)

Le décal est nice mais leur prix pour le shipping est dégeulasse. Je pense qu'ils m'ont chargés plus cher pour le shipping que le décal lui même... :cry: Ils utilisent le shipping par default de Fedex peu importe l'item que tu commande. Sur ma facture ils ont entourés le prix du shipping avec un gros point d'exclamation, je sais pas si ils étaient outrés eux aussi, mais ils m'ont jamais contacté pour me repayer une partie..

Est-ce qu'un decalque pour apron peut se poser avec la methode humide comme un decalque de cabinet?

Ah ouais j'avais pas pensé à ça. Anyway trop tard maintenant. J'ai eu une couple de micro-bulles aussi même en faisant super attention. Ça parrait pas vraiment par chance...

Honnêtement au début c'est ca que je pensais faire, mais le William " with lane change " était out of print depuis des mois, et je sais même pas si ils vont en faire d'autre...
