I find the artwork a little plain but I really am a fan of the overall package. Price is decent too.

Ditch the screen and add a couple more things to the playfield. It could use a little something more. I like the inline drop targets. Is there a multi-ball?
Pins: Spirit, Centaur II, Af-Tor, Avatar, Embryon, Timeline, Baby Pac Man, SkyJump, Night Moves, Split Second
Gone: Space Station, Top Score, Flash Gordon, Solar Fire, Haunted House, Fire (x2), Vector, Bally Playboy, Tropic Isle, Beat the Clock, Blue-Chip, Disco, Punk!, Lightning, Time Fantasy, 8 Ball Deluxe LE, Double Dragon, Stellar Wars, Alien Poker, Panthera, Elektra, Blackout, Black Hole, Black Knight, Silverball Mania
WTB: Medieval Madness, Rush
Its better to have played and lost than never to have played at all.

I think it's a personal project someone did with a P-Roc and a classic playfield.

It went popular on Pinside and people asked if they could buy one.. so there it is ;-)

Price is decent??? US $6000 for a glorified SS era pinball that looks more boring then half the SS machines you can get for a 1/4 the price.

The music is engaging. This is quite an achievement for a one man project including the music score.

I'm not in the market for NIBs, but I'd certainly like to try it.

This game is roughly the same price as a Stern Pro, I don't see how they will sell many of what is essentially an early 80's SS game (with an LCD screen) for $6000 USD.
Gone - Split Second, Cyclone, DM, WH20, SWEP1, Skill Pool, MSF, JM, I500, NF, WPT, Tron, TZ, Cyclone #2, Astro, TSPP, King Pin
Currently Playing - TOMMY, SM, BSD, DH, Soccer, Taxi, Gamatron, DILE

PROUDLY TOKEN FREE SINCE 2006

I admire that one person was able to conceive this game. It is quit an accomplishment.
That being said, at this point Spooky could perhaps add a ramp or other features that could make the game a bit more interesting.

The game is now called Total Nuclear Annihilation because of copyright issues.
The game was designed by a single guy including the music and animations but the art work was done by another artist.
On pinside, they say this machine has more coils than usual.
It also has +-100 multi color leds controlled individually.
Spooky is a very small manufacturer geared towards low production runs anyway.

I didn't know that, I guess that's fine then but I still would never pay that kind of money for a game like that.

A very diplomatic statement. ;)

If not a ramp, maybe a horseshoe lane or some extra drop targets.

Il ne faut pas etre trop différent de la tendance actuelle pour etre bien recu.
Ce produit est radicalement différent visuellement et au niveau du design.

I'll tell you one thing in end. If it makes profit it makes profit.

I'd love to be able to have done what he has accomplished and designed a machine from scratch. I hope all works out and he's able to design a more challenging early SS design concept again in the future.

I'm personally interested by this game. Not saying I would spend that kind of money on it (neither would I for any other NIBs anymore anyway) but I love old school SS gameplay.

This game is probably playing super fast.

Here's some more shots...

Old post, I know, but haven't seen much on this game here, and I thought I could share my experience.

I played Iron Maiden on route. Bonus: there was also a Dialed-In, another game I never played. There was also a Total Nuclear Annihilation and thought I could try it for the first time when I am done with the other two.

I can tell you that I really liked Total Nuclear Annihiliation. Simple, but gets harder as you progress. The stand-up targets and the scoop make the ball coming back towards the flippers real fast. Ball time is short (way shorter than Iron Maiden). And before you say I am a poor player (which may be true), know that half of my games were multi-players game (up to 4 players) and ball time was short for everyone.

It may be in the video posted above (I did not watch it) but the in-line drop targets act as the ball lock mechanism. Music is very good with deep bass, deeper than any other stock game I ever played. LEDs are also very good. In all: old look, new feel, very interesting.

I played about 15 games of Iron Maiden, 2 games on Dialed-In, and about 10 games on Total Nuclear Annihilation. I would have played more but it was getting crowded. I already have the desire to go back and play some more TNH.

The location: http://www.cabinfeverco.ca/
Their games are well maintained. That is the same location I went in August to play Stern Star Wars for the first time.
