Replacement Boards

Post by Chris Silver »

What pinball machines have new replacement boards fabricated for them? What games should be avoided because it's impossible to find a replacement board for?

What are the kind of average prices to expect after shipping to Canada?
Pins: Spirit, Centaur II, Af-Tor, Avatar, Embryon, Timeline, Baby Pac Man, SkyJump, Night Moves, Split Second
Gone: Space Station, Top Score, Flash Gordon, Solar Fire, Haunted House, Fire (x2), Vector, Bally Playboy, Tropic Isle, Beat the Clock, Blue-Chip, Disco, Punk!, Lightning, Time Fantasy, 8 Ball Deluxe LE, Double Dragon, Stellar Wars, Alien Poker, Panthera, Elektra, Blackout, Black Hole, Black Knight, Silverball Mania
WTB: Medieval Madness, Rush
Its better to have played and lost than never to have played at all.

GDS.... Google Dat Shit, ya lazy fucker. LOL
At least your personality is better than your game play at the Borderland. ;)

The forums are a bit quiet during the summer so I'm trying to generate a casual topic. Mostly, I'm trying to pinpoint certain games to stay clear from because certain boards are unobtainium.

If I recall correctly, no one makes a replacement system 11A display board.

Is there anyone in SW Ontario refurbishing boards?I have a solenoid driver board for a Bally Star Trek than isn't firing the outkicker/ball launch. Pretty sure it's the transistor. I looked at a parts order from great plains but it just doesn't seem worth it as I'm avoiding stocking up on bulk parts. I'm not really interested in carting the full machine around. It's a little difficult these days. I would rather take my chances on dropping off the component, having it repaired/ refurbished/ replaced and plug and play.
