I picked up a powered sub, then I hooked it up to my BBH and my IMDN. What a difference! The shotgun blasts on BBH are totally awesome with the sub, and Maiden rocks even harder now.
Next up...a shaker motor for IMDN!

Added a topper to road kings.
It's the back " translite " part of another rk play field.
Used a plug in case removal needed.
Wired and soldered into the g.i.
Looks ok I think. Opinions wanted?
( not sure if I'm a fan of toppers in general..... pins do look so sharp in a lineup without anything on their heads.......just sayin......
Hoping to come up with a piece to "shroud" back of topper ( black plastic ) to keep light in one direction.
Ideas?

Starting to clean the back box components that have 52 years of carbon, dirt, leaves, and still a faint oder of mouse piss. This is going to take awhile. 1967 Jolly Roger

Wow....Guess someone sprayed "something' 9n the player one score reels. Like scraping hairy glue off every single part. Sure hope player 2,3,,and 4 aren't like that. Tomorrow's problem...

Got the PF all cleaned up, waxed, and put back together except for the bottom targets as they need to be 'fixed". Three out of four score reels are done and the player stepper in the headboard also. It was so gummed up I couldn't even move it by hand.
The match unit copper traces has been cleaned twice with alcohol and still has whatever grease was used on it years ago. Going for the brake fluid I guess......I had heard what old lubricant can do to a machine but this is my first experience with it.....SUCKS!

I had to pay $94 in duty/HST when it came into the country, and the only way to get a refund is by re-exporting it. I can't surrender it to CBSA, I can't destroy it, I have to put it back to Europe on a boat... stupid. It still cost me $30 to ship it, and in six months I'll get a cheque. What a ridiculous system.

Drive a Bally Circus down to Fenton Michigan to be shipped to Herb Silvers in California for a total makeover. Some family wants to suprise Grandpa with his favourite game from when he was younger.

Had a total blowout of my front driver side tire just before Flint. Nothing like manovering through 3 lanes of traffic with smoke bellowing up to get to the shoulder to wake you up a little.

An old client called to 'fix' is pin... was desperate because he was a week without playing is machine... I didn't have a lot of time so I offered him to pass for a quick look (only had 30 minutes). It was enough to fixed and played a few games :) The game didn't give new ball but you can see the coil working but something is blocking the ball . He told me that he had to screw back a post and I had a good idea of the problem... the post didn't a rubber on it! The rubber post was stuck in the ball through blocking the ball.
Easy fix :)

Well not today but yesterday I met another MAACA member and bought my first pin. A rather nice 77 Bally Blackjack. I went over budget but they print money everyday, right?

Also, T. I. L. to route the power cord through its place before placing the back box on and bolting it down... Lol

Removed the dreaded Z-Connector on my STTNG and soldered the wires together as is recommended. Hasn't reset since. Waiting on a bunch of stuff to come in. Gonna make it special (for me anyway). Going full LED including GI and flashers. Going alternate translite (the darker themed one). Going ColorDMD. Going Pinsound board and speakers. Already have an external subwoofer plugged in but with the Pinsound it'll really kick ass :) Then gonna make a funny sound pack with Patrick Stewart swearing his ass off. lol.. Just for shits and giggles, not the usual sound package.

Cheers,

Mike

Brought home a very nice 1967 Jolly Roger....only cared about the BG but the whole pin is nice. Between this and the one I rescued from a barn last year I should be able to make a very nice pin. And a not so nice one....hehe
