If/when you find a cab,
you should look at the great new hacks that have been released in the last few years.

MK2 Plus and MK2 Tournament Edition (TE) and the biggest offerings.

Either can be had by replacing some eproms
(... something I know a bit about ! .
No other board hacks required.


Ultimate MK2 Tournament Edition is a great hack if you are interested in more changes for competitive play. They rebalance the whole game.. the list of changes is massive. Changes like hit box realignments, all characters move the same distance when you tap a direction, changed some inputs for certain moves like reptile's acid spit to add a fast forceball move, ect.

MK2+ looks to keep the game mechanics as stock as possible while adding features that were removed from the game before release, factory bug fixes, and added features like being able to play as the hidden characters, 2v2 kombat, cheats, and everything being fully customizable in the service menu. That's only a small example of the new features added to the game.

Both hacks are great, just depends on what you're looking for.

I'm will have a MK2 cab to sell in the near future. Where are you located?

The cab use some dings and scratches, however, you can get new side art if it bothers you.

Will be for Sale this summer I am too busy with work to get it ready sooner? Many here have played this cab and it even lived at another members house for a while.
